  • How's McCain going to spin this?

McCain's choice to plan the Repub National Convention?

Doug Goodyear, another scumbag lobbyist who puts cash above principle. His group runs 527's, lobbys for big oil and does spin control for the murderous thugs running Burma.

And this asshole is the "good" choice. McCain's first choice was Paul Manafort, another scumbag lobbyist who tried to pour perfume on the pigs Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos and Viktor Yanukovich, the Ukrainian prime minister whose a lover of Vladimir Putin and tried to murder Ukrain's "purple revolution into oblivion.

McCain's lying down with dogs, and not just any dogs. With these dogs like these he'll be lucky if all he winds up with is fleas.

Uneducated white southerners vote against a black man; Hillary Clinton tells super delegatges that this is incontrovertible proof that America will never vote for a black guy.

But first, a dog bit a local man on the street this morning........

    You are so right!

Labeling people who didn't receive an education and vote against someone solely on the basis of race uneducated racists is sooooo elitist.

Instead we should call them "real Americans" or "hard working Americans" or "salt of the earth".

But for God's sake, let's not label call them uneducated racists.

And while we're at it, let's stop calling the media "sexist". After all, Democrats will need the media on our side against John McCain in November.

why should I vote for a party that preaches equality for men of all races... but won't promote the same equality for women?

Calling voters who voted against Clinton on the basis of her gender sexist is very elitist.

Why is Hillary Clinton not reaching out to the male misogynist vote the; the demographic Mr. Obama calls "hard working Americans"? Everyone knows that there is no way to win the White House without the male misogynist vote and I don't see Mrs. Clinton or her supporters reaching out. But instead, her elitist supporters call them "sexist". I just don't see how Democrats can win without expanding the party with misogynists.

  • No Democrat has ever won without WV.

No Democrat has won without Missouri either.

Also, no former first lady has been elected President. In fact, no woman has ever been elected President.

Since 1960, no one has gone directly from the Senate to the White House.

But forget all that, just concentrate on the inane factoid about WV.

  • Terry McAuliffe says Hillary's victory speech will be best speech in history

I'm listening to it now and I have to say, he's right.

We are witnessing history here my friends. The whole world is stopping to watch this most important of all speeches.

I was for Obama, but after this speech I'm switching to Hillary.

In fact, I'm going to get a sex change operation and join become a woman.

  • Obama received more votes in WV tonight than McCain

[Read the article: Some thoughts about West Virginia ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The Republican primary was held tonight as well. John McCain got just over 75% of the Republican vote in an uncontested primary. What's more, that 75% of Republicans was still less votes than what Obama recieved in the Democratic primary.

It's really apples and oranges, but it also underscores the point that these results can't easily be extrapolated to show who will carry the state in November.

There's a lot of time between now and November (lifetimes in politics), and plenty of time for Senator Obama to win over these voters.

  • There are going to be a large number of "blue dog" Democrats in the House next session.

[Read the article: Democrat tarred by anti-Obama attacks wins congressional seat]

Speaker Pelosi will have her hands full.

What will these conservative Democrats want?

My feeling is they will want to decentralize the social platform of the party. Namely, localize gun issues. Don't increase, and possibly push back, federal gun control laws. I think that's an issue that could be debated.

What I fear many blue dogs will want in the future is a localized stand on abortion. And that will be a huge problem for the party. On gun control, what we're talking about is securing rights for individuals (gun owners).

Localizing abortion laws would aid in depriving some women of Constitutional protections.

Where is the line the national Democratic party will draw in the sand? Is there a line we are unwiling to cross?

Already there is talk that we must reach out to racists for support; so I guess dumping the party's pro-choice platform isn't asking too much.

  • How is this betrayal?

[Read the article: Clinton supporters push back against NARAL endorsement]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I've donated to both NARAL and Emily's list. I'm a longtime member of NOW, even thoug I'm a man. So how is this betrayal?

Are men not allowed to be feminists?

Is it because NARAL endorsed before the primaries are over, with two pro-choice candidates still in the race? In that case, why did Emily's List endorse Clinton?

If the outrage is simply because of Obama's gender then all is lost with feminism in America.

  • Biden calls Bush's comments 'bullshit'

Sen. Joe Biden, piling on to Democratic complaints about President Bush’s speech in Israel today:

“This is bullshit, this is malarkey. This is outrageous, for the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, to sit in the Knesset . . . and make this kind of ridiculous statement.”

  • What the f$ck is 'brie'

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I'm a lifetime liberal and I've never eaten something called brie in my entire life.

I've seen it at the Shop N Save, in the cheese area. Is it cheese?

Maybe one of these Electro Robot can tell me what it is. He seems to know quite a bit about it.

Does it really make your head explode?
