    Really?

You're splitting hairs that thin on Obama's story about his granmother, but Hillary's tall tales about Bosnia, not a problem for you.

Is this the plan? Whatever Senator Clinton's biggest failing is, try to make Obama just as bad?

I've said it before and I'll say it again; despite what you hear from talking heads on teevee, Hillary can't win in November and she could cause Dems to lose the House and Senate.

Despite the white vote in primaries, no Democrat will win the white vote in November. Hell, her husband only managed 39% of the white vote in 1992 and 43% in 1996. The projected turnout for African-Americans in this next election will be close to 15% of the total electorate, and the Democrat must get close to 90% of the black vote to win. Hillary won't get close to Bill's share of the white vote against McCain and she sure as hell isn't going to get 90% of the black vote. What's more, she could energize Republicans and throw water on the energy on the Democratic side with youth and blacks should she get the nomination without having more pledged delegates or popular vote.

It may come to the point where neither Dem candidate can win in November. But at least with Obama, he broadens the electorate and probably helps expand majorities in the Congress.

I've supported Obama because I believe he can expand the party.

You seem to be against him because he's almost as bad as Hillary Clinton. Which just leads me to wonder why you support Clinton if shes as bad as Obama in your eyes.

It's sad really. Hillary Clinton was on the verge of being a politician who ushered in an age of historical change. And now she'll just be remembered as the politician who tried to dampened down the enthusiasm for real and yes even symbolic change in America.

And she'll cost Democrats the House. She has no coattails, will not get even 35% of the white vote and will pull somewhere around 80% of the black vote.

No way she can win. She's still in this race because of name recognition and institutional loyalty.

It's time that voters in PA and elsewhere help end her slow, painful campaign demise and put her political career out of its misery.

A little helpful advice. Most people skip right over long repetitive posts because you're preaching to the choir to Hillary supporters and you're not changing their minds and Obama supporters aren't going to waste time on crap they believe is, well, long and repetitive from a Clinton supporter.

There aren't many neutral parties here.

    There's a telling difference.

Obama's so called tall tales are not what one would call first hand knowledge. It's what others have told him as family lore. Hillary Clinton tells tales about first hand knowledge about being shot at. I'm a combat veteran and I have to tell you, I've never misrembered being shot at.

Also in the veteran community the bigest sin of all is to place yourself in a combat story where you don't belong.

I've seen 30 year friendships destroyed by these "tall tales".

Obama's story about how his parents met doesn't even come close. What she said was knowingly a bald-faced lie, not some damn "tall tale".

  • Obama can't close because they're both damn good candidates

But who would have thought a year ago Obama would be in this postition?

I was standing in the freezing cold listening to Obama announce his candidacy in Springfield. I was there as a loyal Illinois Boy but I have to tell you, on that cold Feb day I thought he had as much a chance as hell going as cold as my feet.

How did Hillary Clinton manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?

And if she can't beat a one term Senator with a funny sounding name, with her popular husband standing by her side, what makes ANYONE think she could possibly beat McCain?

Just the fact that she is in this position should be enough to prove she is not ready to lead. She has squandered millions in campaign cash, put loyalty above competence, had no plan for caucus states, small states and no plan for after Super Tuesday. That's ready on day one?

I was and always will be ready to vote for Mrs. Clinton if she is our nominee, but honestly ask yourself; how did she manage to lose what should have been a gimmee?

I agree that the media hates Hillary Clinton. Its the reason her negatives have always been so high. That isn't going to change. You think they'll give her a break because she's running against another media darling in McCain?

To me, you've just made an argument on why Obama can better win against McCain. Why go into November with the media against us from the start? Wouldn't it make more since to fight media darling with media darling?

Clinton supporters who complain about how Obama's race make him untouchable with the media. You think that'll change in November against McCain? They can't run a Willie Horton ad against Obama. The media and the public would go ape Sh!t.

Why put Hillary Clinton at the head of our ticket when we know the media is going to maul her? We need to win this thing, and kamikazee is not a valid political strategy.

Clinton supporters complaining about bias against Clinton inadverently provide another reason not to nominate her.
