@AdmVinyl

You do realize that millions of rural viewers don't have calbe or satellite. And a majority of rural citizens don't get 'all four channels'.

The airwaves are owned by the people and the recipients of the rights to those airwaves have a public responsibility to inform.

I guess I could understand if this wasn't just the third conference. Or if there wasn't so much going on right now in the country. But the times are a little unprecedented so I think the amount of information coming out of the White House should be a little unprecedented too.

Monday, April 27, 2009 04:30 PM

Yeah, because, afterall the number of press conferences are 'unprecedented'

This will be his third. That's right; with two simultaneous wars, an historic economic crisis, and a possible flu pandemic that mimics the great flu pandemic of 1918 why should a recipient of the public airwaves broadcast the President's THIRD prime time news conference?

Alex Koppleman thinks this is the right decision, apparently, because it isn't politically motivated. Oh, that makes it much better. It's only money that's involved. Frankly, I'd be more assured if the decision WAS politically motivated.

But no, its far more important that Fox gives us "Lie to Me".

The question is why?

Why does frank3108 only respond to Camille Paglia articles?

And what does frank3108 think of Camille Paglia's recent attacks on Sarah Palin?

Tuesday, April 7, 2009 11:01 PM

Criticism of Obama

Also, if you're a regular reader, you'd know Glenn Greenwald regularly criticizes the administration. Paglia is shallow and petty and done simply to be contrarian. So people will talk about how controversial she is. But its just pathetic.

Obama Can't Win

[Read the article: Who would the GOP rather face?]

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

That's funny, every Democrat I talk to says they support Clinton over McCain, and when I ask them if they would support Obama were he nominated, they don't say they wouldn't -- they laugh out loud.

Pampered college students aside, Obama's got a big problem with people who work for a living in big, important Democratic swing states like Pennysylvania, Ohio, and Florida. Voters over 55 don't like him. Latinos don't like him. Women don't like him. Blue collar white men don't like him.

It can't be wished away and the superdelegates know as much.

Sorry, Obama can't win

[Read the article: Rev. Jeremiah Wright isn't the problem]

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

and Wright is going to be a big reason why if Obama makes it past the primaries.

Obama can't win PA, MI, FL, OH because of Wright and other issues that make large numbers of Americans nervous.

Write articles about how open-minded you are all you like. It won't matter in the 2008 election. Barack Obama will never be president because he is viewed as weak and unpatriotic. Democrats have learned this lesson time and again but they keep making the same mistake.

I would only vote for Clinton or McCain because BO is weak and unpatriotic.

This is the reality TODAY. Just wait until the 527's get to work.

Obama is a sure loser. Wake up.

[Read the article: Clinton: Wright "would not have been my pastor"]

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Barack Obama will not win Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania in the general election.

Barack Obama is currently TIED with McCain in MASSACHUSSETTS with Hillary Clinton leading McCain by 15 (SurveyUSA)

Barack Obama can win 1000 college students in an Idaho caucus but he loses when millions of Democrats vote in a big state primary. It's about to happen again. He will lose in November and drag down the entire party with him.

The superdelegates know it and if they do the right thing they will reject this loser.

Barack Dukakis never stood a chance

[Read the article: John McCain is connecting with voters]

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Some of us tried to tell you Barack Dukakis fans that your candidate was a loser. We were right then and we're right now. Barack Dukakis is going to lose the election to John McCain and Sarah Palin.

The GOP didn't even have to mount much of a campaign to put away this weak, unqualified empty suit.

We told you so. Barack Dukakis is finished. He was finished before you idiots nominated him.

PUMA's

[Read the article: Should Obama have picked Hillary?]

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

PUMA's all over TV. They like this lady. If McCain picked a man they would probably end up voting Obama but not now.

Mission accomplished.

Impressions will get more favorable in the next few days not less.

Brilliant move for McCain.

Sorry - too late

[Read the article: Will Clinton or Obama be voted off the island?]

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

There's way too much ugly water over the dam for many Clinton supporters to ever consider voting for Obama. You can't attempt to destroy the competition with no holds barred and then wave flimsy olive branches in an attempt to mask the damage. If Obama gets the nomination, afraid y'all are on your own. Not as Democrats, but as something less.
