If this is true (and it wouldn't surprise me) there needs to be some proof. If facts do come to light that proves this is the case, the Democratic Party should ask Clinton to remove herself from the campaign.

Anyone who can watch this and atill want her to lead the country needs their head examined. She has not merely reinforced all of the negative notions surrounding the clintons, she has made them even worse.
She's finished. Not just in this election, but she's committing career suicide right before everyone's eyes. The saddest part is she's doing it to be as destructive as possible.
Hillary, 2012? The Democratic Party won't have anything to do with you. Enjoy your retirement. Maybe you can get a co-host gig on The View.
Her political survival depends on Barack Obama losing the general election. If she stays in the race till the bitter end all she's really doing is setting herself up for 2012. A rancorous primary campaign carried out right to the convention even if she can't win will just weaken Obama as far as independant voters go, and galvanize the hardcore Clinton supporters (who seem somewhat unbalanced at this point) to vote for Nader.
Nader is a big problem for Obama and Clinton will see to that.
Hillary Clinton is an intellectual leeche. She stole remarks from John Edwards and her husband last night. She stole one of John Edwards answers in a debate nearly word for word previously. She has tried to absorb other candidates campaign themes when her's has flagged. youtube her embarrassing "Yes we will" moment. When she cried in NH it all was suddenely "This is personal for me" conviniently mere days after John Edwards used "This is personal for me" as his thematic device in the debate. She was the candidate of "experience" until Obama gained traction with "Cahnge" then she was all about change.
Please don't get into the old "depending what the meaning of 'is' is. She's intellectually dishonest.
I think its officially over March 4th. Clinton can go foreward if she wants to, but at that point it will just be an excersize in making Obama's life miserable. She knows its the end of the line, but she doesn't want to walk away empty handed. There is a story today detailing the horrific financial mismanaging of her campaign. Her poll numbers are dropping, she's losing state after state, she's losing the delegate race, super delegates are beginning to fall in Obama's direction. The longer she stays in the less bargaining power she'll have with Obama AND the party. He'll promise her a Supreme Court nomination.
As far as her debating prowess goes, she's a debate bully. Every debate they've had she's talked over people, inturrupted people, refused to answer the question asked...and has been allowed to go on and on much longer than other candidates. She tends to talk in circles and doesn't really say as much as it appears. she sounds good, but there's not much really there. Case in point, the foreign policy segment. She was talking about, of course, being ready on day one. we got the...we just had an election in Pakistan, the situation in Serbia, all these things...then nothing. I was waiting to hear how she'd handle or address them. Nothing. I read the papers. I know all that is going on. Does that make me ready on day one? She tried to end last night on a majesstic note and got caught cribbing John Edwards' remarks. After accusing Obama of plagarism, it just made her look foolish. The day after impression isn't good for her.
I know all politicians need to be part salesman, and they need to know how to turn on the charm, but she never seems genuine. Nasty Hillary seems snide, emotional Hillary seems contrived. She always just comes across as craven.
She went well beyound "Whatever happens we'll be fine."
She used his statement in the same context as he did. She has done so in the past as well.
I definitely got a feeling that Clinton was greasing the way for a gracefull exit. March 4th is her "Last Chance Texaco" (thank you Ricki Lee. I don't want to be accused of plagarism). Obama will win either Texas or Ohio, or the the margins will be so razor thin for Clinton they will be seen as losses. He will pick up more delegates. It will be over for her.
But she wants something, and she can stick it out and make life miserable for Obama if he doesn't bargain with her. My guess is that very soon there will be quiet negotiations between the two campaigns that will move Obama closer to Clinton's healthcare proposal. I also wouldn't be shocked to hear Obama refer to clinton as being perfect for the Supreme Court. She can then exit gracefully and throw her support to Obama.
Obama says the super delegates should reflect the will of the voters.
Clinton say "that will sort itself out."
Hmmm
They were worse. Patrick suggested using those lines to Obama, and its well know each has allowed the other to pick up snippets from each others speeches. Patrick used lines from Obama's famouse 2004 convention speech. (aside: I'm an Obama supporter and I think its fine if these two are friends and do this, but I feel both should always reference the other when its done).
This wasn't the first time Hillary Clinton has stolen John Edwards debate material. Last night was particularly unforgivable since she made that snide "Change you can Zerx" remark and continued to make an issue of Obama's srior speech.
And I do find the maudlin story about visiting the wounded vets tasteless considering she voted for this hideous war, voted for Kyl/Lieberman and has never publically admitted her Iraq vote was a mistake. She wants it every which way.
