  • making changes

[Read the article: Andy card resigns; Bolten to become chief of staff]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I guess he can make whatever changes he wants, but the real problems with this administration stem from Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rice. As long as that Axis of Evil remains it will be business as usual.

  • gavel him

[Read the article: DeLay: Threatened judges still don't "get it"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Maybe when one of those people in black robes sends his fat ass to prison Tom Delay will finally learn just how much they do "get it."

  • sad but true.

[Read the article: The "W" Republicans]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

They'll crank up their vile gay bashing agenda and the Kool-Aid brigade will fall in right behind them. They've already started.

  • You know...

[Read the article: Sinners in the hands of an angry GOP]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

...I really wish they'd start serving Kool Aid at these wackey Christian shin-digs.

  • Bush's new strategy: Appear less smart

[Read the article: Bush's new strategy: Appear less smart]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

To win 'us" back? No, I think its to keep the crowd who believes that dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't get on the ark firmly in his camp.

  • no respect

[Read the article: McCain's Falwell flip-flop]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

John McCain lost any shred of my respect when Karl Rove and George Bush used him a their personal latrine in the 2000 primaries, and he not only let them get away with it, he stuck his head up their asses. Jerry Falwell is no longer out of touch? Well Sen. McCain, Rev. Falwell hasn't changes a bit. Apparently you are the one who has had a change of heart. Weak, wormy pandering to win at any cost. After 8 years of, perhaps, the worst "leader" in this nation's history we don't need to follow it with four years of a worm like Sen. McCain.

  • JESUS

[Read the article: Tom DeLay steps down]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

We all know alot of people have a convenient way of finding Jesus after they land in the slammer. Who will Tom Delay find (or for that matter Ralph Reed)? If...when...Delay goes to prison who will he find? He's been towing the line for Jesus already. Will he become "reacquainted" with Jesus or will he maybe become a Scientologist? Will Madonna send him a Kabalah bracelet? I'm very concerned for the spiritual well being of this sterling Christian man.

  • I'd love to see those pictures.

[Read the article: Gen. Boykin's friends in the Senate]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

In the Director's Cut version of The Exorcist Pazuz makes an appearance on the exhaust fan hood over the stove. Now, if Pazuzu can show up on the exhaust fan hood over the stove then certainly the Devil's hoard can show up in the sky over Mogadishu.

Democrats should get copies of those pictures and anyone, ANYONE, who supports this kook should be branded as a lunatic not fit to serve in the US government...including Sen. McCain if he sees fit to further take some evangelical dick up his ass. The damage being inflicted on this nation at the hands of these out-of-control religious psychos is beyond belief. Its time to take them on and expose them for the danger they are...not fawn over them and suck up to them. Maybe , just maybe, there is a huge group of people out there waiting for someone to step up and take a stand against them. Look at many of the Christian right's pet issues: abortion, stem cell research, intelligent design in public school text books, the Terry Schiavo case...the American public does not buy into the Christian right's stand on any of those issues. Even opposition to gay marriage is tumbling in the general public. The nation is being bullied by a group of extemists with a strangle-hold on the Republican party . There's only one way to deal with a bully: stand up to them.

  • Strange

[Read the article: Chris Matthews hearts Tom DeLay]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

When Mathews made an appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher before the 2004 election he seemed genuinely perplexed that the presidential race was so close given that the American people had the choice between someone who was quite intelligent and someone who wasn't. On his own show, its quite a different story.

He's a whore. He'll kiss any Republican or convervative ass that he think will boost the ratings of his pitifull little show. Keep in mind who's watching these pathetic cable news shows night after night. They all play to the Kool-Aid brigade.

  • a simple answer

[Read the article: In a leak, the White House says it didn't leak]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If Bush was so concerned and wanted to assure the American public then why didn't he just talk directly to the American public himself? He could have announced he was declassifying some of the material to assure the American people his reasonings and information were sound.

I think we all know why he didn't do that. He's a liar and a fraud. He lead the nation into a disatrous and un-neccessary war on false pretenses. I have some information to leak to you Mr. Bush: history will most likely remember you as the worst president in US history.

  • Conspiracy theory

[Read the article: Jesus: The coverup]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The heroine of The DaVinci Code was fat. Brown never refers to her as being fat, and clearly there are no images of her, so what do I base my fat theory on, you might ask? She is described as wearing a "cream colored knee length sweater over black leggings (with a mane of auburn hair). My friends, nothing says "fat" more than an ensemble like that.

  • Whore

[Read the article: A tale of unsavory Justice]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

No other word for him. I can tell you, at 13 I knew the differnece between right and wrong and I wasn't worldly and wise enough to run a porn business out of my own (supplied) apartment. this kid is no victim. He's a sleazy bottom feeder who's moving on to a new racket.

  • talent?

    [Read the article: Z best]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Can anyone honestly say she's ever been talented? She was perfect in Cabaret, but let's be honest, if she didn't have famous Hollywood parents the Kit Kat Klub would be just the kind of place she'd call home.

She seems harmless, and good-spirited though, so more power to her...and through all her trials and tribulations I've never heard her say an unkind word about anyone.

  • a thought to Serious Notebook

[Read the article: Who's providing comfort for the enemy now?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You definitely have a point. However, the Republicans and the Bush/Cheney ran a campaign with "Flip Flop" as their centerpiece. I can understand changing your mind on an issue, but in Gingrich's case its a self-serving example of a leopard changing its spots. These phonies need to be held accountable to the standard they took it upon themselves to set.
