I've seen Jawbreaker

Liberace, Rock Hudsen, Brad Davis...the list could go on and on. They all pulled the "I'm not gay" card out. Mr. Sanchez you've sucked cock on film, you're gay. Apparently your excort ad has been currently active, you're gay. Former men you've dated have already come forward, you're gay. I have no respect for you. Not because of your porn past or excort present, but because you're a hypocrite enabling the most hatefull segment of our society.

Your murky double-talk and near incoherent rambling was just plain sad. If you think your conservative friends will support and embrace you you're dead wrong. After they've done damage control you'll be thrown in the dumpster. I have no doubt a "very special Advocate cover" is your near future. I hope you're not so entirely self centered to miss the fact that the gay community will be much more forgiving and embracing than your current right wing crowd.

I feel sorry for you. You've turned yourself into a punchline, and you can't blame your porn past or being gay for that.

All having competeing stragegies does is give the GOP more grounds to say the Democrats don't have a plan.

I disagree. I'd rather hear the Democrats debate a variety of plans and options. It shows a breath of thought and consideration for a very vital decision. None of them are recommending an open ended continuation of this disaster. Let them hash out various ideas and come up with a well thought out solution.

You know, that's alot better than "Support the troops, stay the course."

A "partner"?

I've read through many of these comments, but I haven't seen any mention of this, although I may have just missed it. This guy is a junior in college working on his bachelor's degree and he lands a job as a PARTNER at a marketing firm?! How does that happen? That seems kind of suspect to me. I wonder who at that firm hired him for his escort services and now its payback time.

Also, will the Marine Corp. discharge him the same way highly qualified individuals (a number fluent in arabic) have been thrown out of the military in what has been effectively a witch-hunt? Will this charletan get to continue his military career and reap its benefits simply because he shills for conservative causes?

As for the "he's not gay" issue. The gym I go to is a bobybuilder gym and has seen a lot of gay: porn actors/escorts/hunky bartenders and strippers pass through its doors. They're all "straight." Someone alsways points to them and says, "He's really hot. He bartends at such-and-such a bar. He's straight." "He's really hot. I've seen his porn...he's straight." Well all these "straight" guys only cavort with other equally chisseled and hunky gay men. I see them slobbering all over each other at gay bars, holding hands walking down the street with their boyfriends and gossiping at gay coffee shops. They're "straight" because that sells. The fantasy of straight men having sex with each other is a turn on for alot of guys really into porn. So, viola, they're "straight." Sanchez? He's done hardcore gay porn for years, he's a gay prostitute, he's dated men, has profiles on Manhunt and Gaydar. He ain't straight...but he is absolutely, no question, a disgrace. I hope the gay community shuns him. I hope he ends up lurking around the fringes alone and banished just like Gannon.

Just substitute Hitler's name for Bush's

But Hitler was highly intelligent and clever...crazy and evil, but he was looming figure in history. I know this will sound strange, but comparing Bush to Hitler is an insult to Hitler! Bush will be remembered as a simpleton pawn being jerked this way and that by Cheney and his co-horts.

"Where the boys are someone waits for me..."

"Also, for supposed liberals, you people have an almost prudish discomfort with depictions of the human body."

Hell, that's the only reason I'm going to sit through this thing, and that's why this will play huge in gay meccas across the country. I saw the beefcake bus poster and said, "I'm there." I'm going tonight with a straight female friend who will roll her eyes and then tell me it did absolutely nothing for her, and we gay men have one-track minds.

It is very, very funny that a movie this over the top gay is being slyly marketed to a straight male audience. Gotta love it.

Hoo-rah for him

"He got into the Marine Corps at age 32 due to receiving a waiver. He had to pass more stringent physical testing at that advanced age, and he did.

The reason he hasn't gone to Iraq is that his reserve unit didn't need him -- yet, at least. He's not infantry, military police, intelligence, none of the major specialties most desirable for combat at this time."

But the question remains, will he get unceremoniously dumped from the same military that has dumped highly qualified, dedicated servicemen who happen to be gay but didn't have the benefit of shilling for conservative and Republican causes on Fox News? The anti-gay descrimination in the military is beyond intollerable, but it IS the current law of the land. Will there be a double standard for Matt Sanchez simply because of his dubious political leanings? If so, every serviceman who has been discharged for being gay should demand to be reinstated immediately.

Oh, and by the way, if Sanchez gets to stay in the Marine Corps. and he's such an impressive physical specimen...THEN SEND HIS ASS TO IRAQ NOW.

MAN-A-PALOOZA!!

The whole movie was like one giant float in the gay pride parade. And the shout out to Cabaret...priceless. It was like the ghost of Herb Ritt and watched over the production.
