  • Bravo, Bravo, Bravo, Bravo, NYShooter!!!!!!

In your brief post you have laid Barack Obama bare for all the world to see.

It matters to a lot of people whether Barack Obama had everything given to him--including a legacy entre to Harvcard (though being from Harvard under any circumstance is suspect enough. I have never met anyone who went to Harvard who isn't an arrogant elitist, and I know a few.) It matters to a lot of people whether you get to where you are using Obama's ruthless tactics. It maters whether you are really a marxist instead of merely a traditional liberal (which is bad enough). It matters whether you are a fraud or not.

And it is unconscionable that the media joined in the Obama Hoax and assisted immeasurably in getting him to the brink of nomination as the Democratic candidate for President. And yes, guilt ridden white liberals and an education system steeped in political correctness which has deprived two generations of american kids of real learning and real history have played a great role in Obama's success.

After all, Dremas From My Father is as big a self-indictiment a single politician could make against himself, but we have a population which can barely put 1 + 1, together, much less make an informed political decision.

  • What Pennslyvania tells us?

[Read the article: What Pennsylvania tells us]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The first thing Pennsylvania tells us is that the paint is beginning to peel a little bit on Obama's image, and he gets upset visibly when things do not go his way.

The outcome also tells us there is a real problem with the democrats apportionment of delegates. As many delegates as PA has, and though Hillary got a convincing majority of the vote considering the forces arrayed against her, she only got a handful of delegates more than Obama. That was due to the Democrats assigning more delegates to distircts which went heavily for democratic candidates in the last election. This gives the black minority in PA a greater influence at the convention and choosing a President than their real percentage of the population warrants.

I'm afraid the paint is not peeling fast enough on Obama's image to prevent him getting the nomination, unfortunately. But the only way Obama will beat McCain is for McCain to beat himself--which he appears to be doing, at this point.

  • Will the Democratic and Republican conventions both flop?

[Read the article: Will the Democrats flop in Denver?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Let's answer with a question. If the final winner of American Idol were announced two weeks before the final program, would the final program be a flop? Yes? There's your answer.

Few people will watch the Republican convention where the nominee--John McCain--will be inducted after having been rejected by about two thirds of the voters in the Republican Primaries. The only suspense--or point of dramatic interes, from an entertainment prspective--will be the announcement of his running mate. I guess they will save it till last.

As for the Dems in Denver, the legions of Obama gullibles will watch enthusiastically, as will those who at least think they can't wait until the Bush regime ends. But since the general public rightly thinks we were left with the least desirable candidates, here listed in alphabetical order--Clinton, McCain, and Obama--I don't think there will be much interest there either. Unless, no one arrives with enough delegates to be nominated.

The half-time shows at both conventions will probably be the best part.

  • Why denounce Floyd Brown?

[Read the article: Will McCain denounce Floyd Brown?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Will McCain denounce Floyd Brown? He apparently already has, by calling on the NC Republican Party to pull the ad which has caused "racial" consternation.

If McCain values the truth or has any political sense at all, he will shut up complaining about Ads critical of Obama and his campaign.

There is nothing wrong with the ad. Its factual, on target, and effective. Thank god for the NC GOP having the sense, initiative, and courage to put it before the public. If McCain wins the election, it apparently will be because some republicans have sense enough to run a real campaign. I'm sending money to the NC GOP to show my approval, and I'm not from North Carolina and I'm an independent.

  • What's gone wrong with the Obama campaign?

[Read the article: Krugman asks "what's gone wrong" with Obama campaign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The paint has begun to peel ever so slightly on Obama's shrewdly manufactured image in the first dawning of fact since the campaign began, and the wires behind the superbly marketed "message" are beginning to be visible, too. But only to those willing and able to see.

Remember, those closest to Obama admit "this is Obama's moment". Put another way, they are admitting if he and his campaign can't win this year, the real Obama and his version of "change" will be so visible he won't be a viable candidate in future races.

  • Perot Ignored, Certainly by Obama and McCain.

[Read the article: Krugman asks "what's gone wrong" with Obama campaign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I voted enthusiastically for Perot in 1992 and 1996, and would again. Not only did he oppose NAFTA, he called for a 10 year moratoriam on all immigration.

McCain, Clinton, and Obama want open borders and a continuing flood of immigration. McCain loves NAFTA, and Obama came out for free trade early, then said he was against it when he found it is unpopular--even as he sent an assistant to Canada to reassure the free traders he really is for NAFTA. He even voted for free trade, didn't he--with Africa?

Oh, and the Iraq war. The Obambinas masses on campus love this guy who has voted several times to fund the war and probably wants to bring back the draft--as an awful compulsory univeral national service to "rebuild" the country and regiment the young for good national social(list) purposes a la Lenin, Hitler, Mao, Truman, Sam Nunn (Sam went to Washington in 1972 to save the draft, and fought until he left the Senate to bring it back after President Ford and Donald Rumsfeld ended the draft.), and a battalion of mostly liberal others. McCain wants the draft back too, being the last man standing who still has a WWII/Cold War mentality.

Hillary is the only one of the three I could possibly vote for.
