No, MagneticFieldsForever, that's NOT what he said. You're just lying for him.

You think Obama is going to solve all your problems, don't you? You'll cover for him no matter what. Man, what delusion.

Here's what he actually said:

One year from now, we have the chance to tell all those corporate lobbyists that the days of them setting the agenda in Washington are over. I have done more to take on lobbyists than any other candidate in this race - and I’ve won. I don’t take a dime of their money, and when I am President, they won’t find a job in my White House.

Barack Hussein Obama, November 3, 2007

Wake up liberals. He is just another lying politician.

Liberal mantra:

Anyone that disagrees with me must hate something.

Anyone that disagrees with me must hate something.

Anyone that disagrees with me must hate something.

Anyone that disagrees with me must hate something.

Anyone that disagrees with me must hate something.

Anyone that disagrees with me must hate something.

Anyone that disagrees with me must hate something.

Keep saying it until you believe it. It justifies all delusion.

I second Kwazee Kwame

He could be the first Gangsta Czar of Hip Hop Healthcare. All of the ambulances would be Escalades with spinners, and all the doctors would wear pinstripes and diamond studs. And the nurses, man, don't get me started.

His Enforcer would be Marion Barry.

porsadgai - Do you really think so?

Do you know what this has done for Limbaugh's ratings?? If BO simply ignored him, his effect would be far less reaching. As it is, BO has done the kindest thing of all. Any press is good press, and when it's presidential press, why that's the goodest press there is!

Obam and TT, making Limbaugh rich!

paulpsd7 - Youe and your code words!

1) Barack Obama will provide a tax cut for working families

1a) i.e. tax "rebates" for people that don't pay taxes. Gotta "spread the wealth around".

2) Provide tax relief for small businesses and startups

2a) As long as they are minority owned. I've worked for two 8a firms. I know how this one works.

3) Fight for fair trade.

3a) Suck up to the union bosses.

Just how smart is this Obama guy?

It seems just about everyone knows what a skeezball Daschle is. Everyone but BO? I doubt it. He was not blinded by anything. He just thought, like all politicians do, that he could get away with it.

I know I'll get branded (or re-branded) a Republican

but I'm not. And I am no fan of "abandoned free market principles to save the free market system" Bush. But having read a number of the responses, many of which say something like "can you image Bush saying he made a mistake", well actually, he did. It was way after the fact, but he did not have to do it at all.

From CNNPolitics.com:

Bush touts accomplishments, admits mistakes.

Does anyone here remember Clinton's "apology":

I agree with those who have said that in my first statement after I testified I was not contrite enough. I don't think there is a fancy way to say that I have sinned.

bleagh... I just puked a little.

Why is the government controlling what any private business pays??

Oh yeah, I forgot. The government bought the businesses. See how stupid it is to take government money. I hope they choke the life out of them as a warning to the next batch.

Ooooops. Reality just set in! The banks and the government are all the same people! How silly of me to think that this "declaration of doom" by Obama is real. The bankers will get their money, one way or another. Count on it.

It's all just a show, you know.

Well, it turns out that Lucky Ducky didn't "lose" anything

since he didn't have anything to begin with. It looks like he paid the first month's payment of $1.98, so that's all he "lost". He really didn't even lose that, since he got a great service for his money; a place to stay (besides under the bridge) for a month!

Yes, I must say that RB got it right. Most of the people that the government claims are "losing their homes" just like Lucky Ducky aren't losing anything. They did not have anything to begin with, and they paid less to live in the house than it should have cost them anyway. Sounds like a sweet deal on a certain period of low-rent living.

Add to that selling all of the home's fixtures and furnishings when you get the eviction notice, and you can actually make money on the deal, not to mention the "stress relief" of tearing the place up before you leave.

Lucky Duckies!

P.S. does anyone remember the HUD debacle in the 70's? This is just a rerun. My aunt ended up owning 90 or so of those "HUD Homes" after the slobs that the government installed into them were kicked out. She wasn't poor, she was smart! She got rich off the government's massive failure.

So, I'm not alone in my assessment of polticians...

Some of you think that because I criticize politicians that you support, that I am a republican. I have stated repeatedly that I find the republican party as repugnant if not more-so than the democrats.

It really is time for the French solution. If obama's fear mongering "stimulus" bill goes through, all that money that will wind up in some thief's pocket will have to be paid back by us.

Do any of you recall the "politics of fear" campaign waged by the dems? To date, not once can I recall any other president state that if do not enable him, that the country will never recover. No, that distinction goes to "hope over fear" obama. Congratulations for electing him.

Suckers.
