Shame On You Glenn Greenwald!

Shame on you for presenting the false premise that either party gives a rat's butt about the Constitution. Our government has been shredding the constitution since Lincoln, and anybody who is not deluded will admit it. The federal government was NEVER allowed by the constitution to have the kind of brute force power it currently has. I once made a remark about how our country is sliding toward socialism, and one lucid Salon poster said "Socialism? What's the big deal with socialism, it's here, been here, and here to stay."

If you have any decency, you will stop suggesting that the democrats are any more interested in the Constitution than are the republicans, unless of course by constitution you mean gay marriage, et al, and by interested you mean whatever will get them elected.

How dare you

assuage white guilt. Shame on you! White guilt forever!

They by them once suffering slavery,

Deserve to drive us till we fall.

Bush stole the election?

Prove it or shut up.

Deja vu all over again, eh?

I've always said

politicians are a bunch of clowns. What more proof can there be?

Salon should stay away from the political cartoons. Most of their articles serve that purpose anyway

TTDB is sooo much funnier. I LOVE Super-Fun-Pax Comix, especially Uncle Capn'.

Thanks RB.

How many of you here have read Lincoln?

I won't say what Lincoln had to say about the nature of the African race (I would undoubtedly be called a racist in the extreme), but before you think he would approve of all this you had better read it for yourself. To maintain Lincoln's god-like status, much of his writing is NOT taught in public schools or universities.

To have him in the background, seemingly cheering BO on is laughable.

I'll bet it either

does not close, or is simply replaced. Obama is not as stupid as that. If he were to actually invoke a soft touch approach to terrorism, and one terorist act were to succeed in killing a couple more thousand Americans, Obama would not last one more minute. Even if he were to take an even tougher stance on terrorists, his own words will destroy him should a terrorist act succeed. He has already set himself up as a bleeding heart.

Talk all you want to about our country's "soul", but the only place that a politician can take it is from one hell to another.

Thursday, January 22, 2009 01:11 PM

BTW

Did you notice that the shackles are padded? Boo hoo. Poor terrorists. They wouldn't do such meanie stuff to us as put us in padded shackles.

No, they would wrap the chain around our neck and wait for us choke to death under our own weight.

"But if anybody can preserve a livable climate, Obama's amazing energy team can"

This is a joke, right?

I wish cartoonists that are not genuine political satirists

would stick to what they do best. Cartooning. This isn't clever or funny.

How much further left

can this socialist go? Stalin, anyone?

Monday, February 2, 2009 10:22 AM

It's sunk! Deservedly so.

Foolish liberals to think that they are a majority in this country, just because conservatives refused to choose between a socialist and a socialist.

Speaking of bad off, Obama has been in office just fourteen days and is already proving to be what most of us knew him to be. Corrupt staff choices, loopholes in "executive orders", picking a fight with Rush Limbaugh?!? His approval ratings are already slipping (Rasmussen) and he has yet to be faced with a real crisis (China making an aggressive move, for instance).

He's an amateur and a con, and soon enough he will be more despised even than George Bush. Guess which side will despise him most?

*Obama the 'Magic Negro'

*Actual title of an LA TIMES column. You would think that TT would take Bollings advice and GOOGLE it.

Stupid liberal.

15 days in...

It can only get better from here. To all of you that still think Obama is something more than just another thieving, lying politican, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. I predict this guy is going to be a basket case inside of six months.

Tuesday, February 3, 2009 10:09 AM

HEY!

Why isn't this the lead story? This makes THREE tax cheats Obama owed something to.

Oh, and considering he says he's a socialist

I hope he fails too. Notice I said "he says he's a socialist". What I mean by that is that every indication provided by his public dialog would indicate he is a socialist. "Spread the wealth, etc, etc". What he really is is a complete unknown to regular folks because he, like all other politicians, will say whatever it takes to get elected. He could be a staunch conservative or libertarian, but you and I will never know. Such is the evil of politics.

I still hope he fails. Smug jerk he most definitely is. And a nerd as well. Imagine, the President of the United States picking a public fight with a readio talk show host. Limbaugh must be having a significant effect.

Tuesday, February 3, 2009 10:27 AM

Man, this is unraveling much too fast.

I really mean that. For the republican party to improve, the democrats have to pose a credible threat. It works that way on both sides, and I will be the first to admit that when either party gets too much power, we all get screwed. I think most of you would agree. Politicians are such an insidious lot (it's not like the dems are looking too good in the last few days - think Blago, eh?) Unless BO pulls this thing out of the fire, the repubs can run another jerk like Bush and win it easily. C'mon Dems, step up. I don't want the repubs to have an excuse to run on the same ol' crap. Can you imagine President Palin???
