Conservatives are rejecting the liberal republicans, this much is true. What is patently false no matter how much you would like to believe it, is that people are abandoning true conservatism. The conservative mindset is still the majority in this country, and what you better hope that happens is that they are not pushed too far. They are far more disciplined, organized, aggressive, and tenacious when threatened than any branch of liberalism.

Currently there are two political parties in this country; the left and the far left. As everyone here well knows, societal behavior is cyclical. The more extreme the pendulum swings in one direction, the greater it arcs in the other. What may well rip it off its hinge would be a Hillary Clinton political victory.

I am sure that some of you think that the increasingly socialistic, redistributionist climate is tolerable by those of us who are not self loathing, guilt laden individuals. It may be being briefly tolerated, but it is by no means indefinitely tolerable.

In the meantime Mr. Greenwald writes his lengthy sophist explanations of why he thinks he is right. They are lengthy because it is difficult to obfuscate in a short, concise form. I think in the end, they even look good to him.

that neither party represents the majority of US citizens? Oh, come now. How simple is that to grasp. The French government over taxed, and underrepresented the vast majority of its people. For a while. Then, in 1789 the French people took decisive action.

If a frog (no pun intended) is boiled slowly, it cooks without knowing it has been cooked. Turn the heat up too fast and it jumps. For the last eighteen or so years (some would argue much longer), those with their own agenda have been cooking this country. Slowly. A Hillary victory would wake up the population, and some variation 1789 France (hopefully much less violent) will occur. I hope Hillary wins. I really do. The republican party no longer represents the majority conservative population, and neither do the democrats, though they used to as well. What is needed now is some heat. If you can't comprehend this, don't blame me. Blame the government school you attended.

Why don't some of you lefties subscribe? Probably for the same reason that conservatives outgive (to charitable organizations) loving, caring, compassionate liberals ten-to-one. You like to play like you own the place, but you don't like to pay.

Some of you found it incredible that I stated that the majority of US citizens are conservative while at the same time the same majority elected a political party that they in many ways dislike and disagree with.

Check out this Time article. It says that basically the only party that the majority likes less than republicans are the democrats, but that the majority think both parties stink, the left republicans, and the far left democrats:

"It's hard to know exactly why respondents who are generally unhappy towards — and in many cases fed up with — the G.O.P. might still prefer a Republican for President over a Democrat. Much of it has to do with the individual candidates involved."
