1You want schools to teach that your way of life is correct (and that dissenters are in the way of progress) , 2you want the government to shut down religious charities that do not bend to your lobby, and 3you want free speech erased for those who oppose your agenda.

1: Yup

2: Yup

3: No, but I do want them to have to take a pill that makes stupidity very painful so that they only way to get over the painfulness is to get SMART

Wut U sed...

Yes, Verses...

...I am exactly the reason you (and your ilk) should start thinking about getting with the program and realizing that your intolerance is your doom. How much nicer for you it will be to sit down at the table with the tolerant fags, dykes, mothers who've also required abortions -- name your previous victims-of-the-month -- than to have to sit across the table from me (and my ilk), who think the guillotine a great invention.

What We Could Do

This is from my 1996 poetry collection, "Life Flight" (currently unavailable)

What We Could Do

To begin there is fire,

snickering its red hot

into forests and churches

at a thousand places

on a given night

while the people sleep.

It's possible.

Radio towers

sticking the sky

itch to topple

while bridges envy

the water below

its gravity.

Dams and courts could be blown

at precisely that moment

the transformers fail

and malls close for good,

the public statuary cart off

in the dark and melted down

to be otherwise utilized.

We could raid armories

knock over bamls

capture the governor

take prisoners

kidnap

plunder

loot

and further defile

the public weal.

If we wished we could

excrete in the pulpits

and kill Jesse Helms

while wearing fabulous gowns,

cheap wigs and camouflage

makeup,

each stolen Wonderbra stuffed

with secret missives

from Queer Headquarters.

What we coulddo

is go burning

into the night

killing innocents

to deliver the message.

And you know what else? This is how it feels to be the target of your brand of hatred (yes, it's hatred, even if you deny that). Playing with fire might cause burns...

(From the same collection)

Felonious Words for Jesse Helms

This is for you.

This is a threat.

I want to brand

the word 'faggot'

on your forehead

in capital letters

so you know how it feels,

chase you into deep water

with no ladder

and no rope,

burn you

to a thin grey spot

underfoot and Jesse

you shall not come

from that fire alive.

Write these words in stone.

I am dreaming

I am gnashing

rending

breaking

hanging your bones

from my belt

drum

dick,

cackling at your

choice screams

asI do you

and the sending forth

thus exposed

into your suffering.

...I learned to hate. It took a virus which removed 1,500 or so names from my rolodex to do so...and folks like Verses

"Therefore it is impossible to reason with you."

Like it's easy to reason with a neolithic hill-tribe mentality...so how is standing upright working for you since it seems to be new to you?

Daniel Would Have Married Me

If he had lived.

The Hands

It would be easy to remember

your skin as if

whatI touched had been

fine, white porcelain

painted delicately

with some summery pattern,

painted carefully

with even, loving strokes,

each spot a rose

or perhaps cranberries.

A simple matter

of memory correcting the fact

of those daily visits --

the requisite emptying

of bed pands and laundered

sheets--a sort of penance

for what now has become

tired relief with the

announcement I clipped

and which sits

in the brass bowl

you brought me from

your (almost) last trip.

It would be easy to forgive

you your dying.

That finalride home and

the terrible manner in whch

your body disappeared

while I watched,

my hands worrying over you

for utility in a kind of

disinfected intimacy.

But I cannot excuse

the disease or make amends

for the way I look

at my own two hands --

the good left, the good right --

never without thinking of you

anywhere but in that

final deadly bed

and the clean, cool rags

washing time from your skin.

I Think...

...your suicide is really quite a pleasant prospect. Do it now.

There are no souls. Cognitive organs don't work that way (try learning some Neurobiology).

The sooner you conclude your wasted existence, the better for those with minds. A .44 should do nicely. Ropes are also good. Lacking either, many household cleaners can do the trick.

Re: savings rate

I don't think that the savings rate would include anything place where there is an element of risk. That's not really saving, but gambling.

My big question is how they know about the jars in the back yard!

RE: "...when did Yasser..."

I think that was for his early work culminating in the seminal research document "Analysis of the Effect of Projectile Velocity on Flesh".

You betcha!

Toy sharing...

...or early vote bribes? We have to find out how those kids he was in the sandbox with are voting so we'll know if that was his secret hidden kinder-care agenda!!! He PROBABLY gave Valentines cards to the WHOLE CLASS too!!! WILL IT NEVER STOP?

I also hear...

...that Barack and Michelle have a TIME machine, and intend on going back and revising the Balfour decision, then heading further back to 1189 with a shipment of Blackhawk helicopters for Saladin...

Man, it's gettin' purdy scary...
