Ms Walsh, you have lost your objectivity-I am a fan of yours

Dear Ms Walsh, I only post this since I have so much respect for both you and Salon.

First let me say I am a hard core liberal and was involved in both the civil rights movement in the 60's and Alaskan politics for over 30 years.

I believe you have lost your way and objectivity regarding Hillary Clinton. First look at your own psychology in defense of your stand negating Hillarys intentions regarding her remarks of Bobby Kennedy.

Your main quote for people whom you consider "objective and thorough" was George Stephanopoulos. Didn't we just see Mr Stepanopoulos ask the most ridiculous and biased questions (which hurt Obama and helped Hillary!)at a Hillay/Obama debate recently?

Or how about the working white's supporting Hillary. Hillary cannot win (that is fact based on science i.e. math) unless Obama is assassinated and in the meantime Hillary is destroying both Obama and the Democratic party by staying in this race.

I saw you on Chris Mathews and you looked tired. Science, which apparently you and the Clintons do not believe in, says fatigue has a similiar effect on the mind as drinking. True!

Take a rest.

If the super delegates steal this election from Obama there will be race riots, the African Americans will not vote for Hillary, or will the young liberals. And I may join them-grin.

And we will have another 1968 which elected Nixon because Humphery stole the nomination from Macarthy. So we anti war protestors did not vote for Humphrey.

Big mistake on our part then, but the blacks and kids will do it again; and so, Hillary is sacrificing this country, just as Nader did, for her own personal desires.

Respectfuly,

Joan Walsh's shilling for Hillary and bashing of Obama

I have been an unwavering, hard core liberal democrat, since the civil rights movement of the 60's; and drectly involved in state politics (including a run for the state legislature) for 40 years. I like so many liberals always looked to Salon as a place to go for honest reporting and sophisticated thinking.

We liberals pride ourselves on being honest and objective. Yet recently, Joan Walsh once again defended Hillary's comments about Bobby Kennedy's assassination and she got so many letters objecting to her biased commments defending Hillary they shut the letter's section down. Maybe this is normal, but I read a lot of them and they almost all saw Joan Walsh's behavior exactly the same as I. Deplorable.

That Hillary has surrounded herself with thugs like Harold Ickes and the recently resigned and shameless campaign strategist (P? cannot remember name, but they paid him 4 million dollars) and Hillary's constant bashing of Obama should give Joan a clue about this person she keeps defending.

Not to mention the fact Hillary's selfish power hungry behavior is destroying both Obama and the democractic party and maybe the nation if Obama is defeated.

Joan walsh needs to go to the mountain, for some seriously needed reflection!

NIce to see someone at salon can recognize reality re Hillary

Still, what in the hell is she doing? Obama is such a good candidate and she has hurt him big time. Any sane, thinking person can see his abilities and honest intentions regarding the welare of the people.

Hillary worsened the divide between black and brown voters. Between older white female voters and "working white southern voters" and Obama. They are very mad at Obama and for no reason exceept Hillary and Bill worked them up.

And knowing she uses unsavory thugs like Mark Penn and Harold Ickes shows her true colors. She has lost the black voters, and thinking honest liberals forever, with her scorched earth (Nancy Pelosi), nonsensical behavior . We do not need another crazy, stupid person, running this country. And she and Bill just lost 30 years of good will with the black and liberal community for no reason I can see.

Obama beat clinton because he is more honest, eloquent and out manuvered her. Give me Obama's advisors like Tom Dashel and his campaign advisor and other supporters, over Hillary's, any day of the year.

It will be interesting to see how Joan Walsh writes about Obama when he gets the nomination. She has burned some pretty big bridges herself.

Original article: Barack Obama's epic win

So where is Hillary's graciousness?

She continues to force Obama to fight a two front war. Had she gaciously supported Obama last night I was ready to say, OK let here be on the ticket as vice president.

Last night should have been Obama's night and she could have been so helpful if she had enthusiasticaly endorsed him and encouraged her followers to do likewise.

Yet, still she drags her feet.

Joan Walsh should write an article on her perceptions of Hillary now. I would love to see her thinking!

Saw Joan on Harball with Pat B

And she and Pat B were agreeing. Except Chris Mathews told Pat B "I know what you are doing!". Joan then said: "what am I doing i.e. (agreeing with Pat).

What you were doing Joan!!!! was helping Obama, just as Pat B was doing by his comments (YOU WERE AGREEING WITH!!)by encouraging this hold out.

Have you not been able to figure that out? I know you are an enlightned person. Seriously.

Picking Caroline Kennedy was so brillant!!!

You know how brillant that was to pick Caroline Kennedy. The ONE women in the world that can trump Hillary. Caroline Kennedy will not be questioned by anyone.

This gives Obama free reign to pick the vice president.Obama is sooooo brillant.

Brillant!

I choose the female 2 time governor of Kansas-can spell her name-lol. I get very good vibes watching her. V something-lol.
