No amount of stimulus will help reduce unemployment.

Government has allowed business to offshore too much manufacturing. There are too many people for the jobs that need doing. What is the government going to do, make busy work? Also, there are too many uneducated, low IQ, and generally unemployable people. Even intelligent people with scientific or mathematical skills can't get jobs. They're competing with cheaper Chinese and Indians. Business is business, and it always goes to the low cost provider. So the sad fact is that the American standard of living is history for most people. It's going way down. But not to worry, because in fifty or one hundred years, we'll be the low cost country once again. But there's going to be one hell of a lot of trouble between now and then.

I'm still waiting for you to tell me 'WHY'. Why are the Dems

so scared of voting for a public option? I'll tell you, since you haven't told me. They're all on the take. Including the President. Anyone with any common sense, who isn't on the Insurance Company take knows we need universal health care. No for profit insurance companies who charge high premiums and don't pay out for claims so that they can maximize their profit for shareholders and executives. IT'S OBVIOUS.

So Mr. Obama and the others must be on the take.

Senator Bingaman's reasoning is BS. Something is not always better than nothing.

He's worried about getting re-elected as they all are. The Democrats have no guts. They'll do whatever the Insurance Cartel says. Remember folks, there is really big money involved here. Really BIG. All the guns are out. I'm not giving any more money to any Democratic candidate sellout. Screw the Republicans and the Insurance industry.

Original article: Palin leaves office

Palin's disappearing act.

The woman makes no sense when she speaks, suggesting that she suffers from a thinking disorder. Perhaps she has a learning disability. In any event, Alaskans are much better off, as are we all, with her out of any position that requires intelligent thought.

Obama is a rookie. He has no idea of what to do.

And he's picked the wrong crew to help him out. We had no business bailing out anyone. The boyz that instituted this bailout were as crooked as the boyz that they bailed out. Let Goldman, BofA, etc. all go down. And we have no business bailing out foreign banks. Why are we doing it? Are they going to make us give up our military bases, not help us get the oil we need, etc. There has to be a faustian bargain in here somewhere. We're not bailing out Deutschebank out of the goodness of our hearts. There's still a lot more to be learned. And who's going to take the fall for all this? I'll tell you. Mr. Obama. He's taking exactly the wrong approach with this mess. That's what you get by listening to Larry Summers, the 'smartest man in the room'. Kind of reminds me of those really 'smart' guys who helped JFK out.

We need revenge, too. Put Yoo, Bush, and his band of bozos in jail and throw away the

key. Until the country feels that no one is above the law, our national soul will not be cleansed. These people got away with murder, literally.

The concept of insurance when applied to medicine does not compute.

Insurance is something that indemnifies the purchaser against a relatively rare event, like fire or theft. Everyone pays a little, and the company pays out only every now and then. But everyone sees a doctor. Why do we need to insure against this? Get rid of private medical insurance and institute a single payor system. It's obvious. Frankly, everyone deserves the same care as their Senator, anything else is second rate, no matter what the cost. If our Congresspeople had to accept the lowest common denominator of health care for themselves and their families, expensive private insurance that does nothing would be gone yesterday.

John McCain is being a jerk

....because he always was and continues to be what he always was....a jerk. Just look at his history. A screwup in high school, the Naval Academy, and the Navy. A philanderer. A man who got where he is through connections. A jerk.

Original article: Obama's hopes Daschled

If Obama keeps screwing up like this, he'll only have one term.

He's appointed too many Clintonians, Geithner was a mistake, and he's not getting any respect from Republicans. Obama may be too soft to be President. My sense is that he needs to get tougher, right now.

Screw inclusivity

I thought Obama was going to stand for something, and not for bigotry. There was no reason to give this evangelical a forum and put him up on a pedestal. Bad decision. Like most liberals, I have a long memory, and Mr. Obama is not off to a good start. It's people like Mr. Warren that have helped put us into the mess we're in now. If I was Mr. Obama, I wouldn't have invited any clergy of any type to speak at the inauguration. Religion and politics don't mix, and it's time to start behaving as if this is the case.

Original article: The buck stops where?

Mr. Bush requires a full mental status examination. He is not quite right in the head.

I believe that some good old fashioned jail time would do him a world of good.

Original article: Zombie feminists of the RNC

Excellent article. Hillary is the only one that can get

her, but won't, because she wants Obama to lose. Hillary's thinking ahead, exactly four years ahead. Her unbridled ambition will do the Democrats in. Too bad for us and too bad for her, because this behavior will rear up and bite her in the ass, should Obama fail to win.

Original article: John McCain, Internet dunce

Mr. McCain reminds me of Mr. McGoo. Befuddled and bewildered by tech.

I doubt that Mr. Bush can use the Internet. Perhaps ignorance is a general characteristic of Republicans. It would explain a lot.

Original article: A tale of two campaigns

It's called RACE. A whole lot of white people, especially older white people, won't

vote for a black man. Even though his opponent reminds me of Mr. McGoo.

She does not have balls. What she has is a big mouth.

How do you know if someone has balls? When they stand up for what is right, even though it might cost them personally. Ms. Clinton voted to authorize the Iraq War even though she knew it was a scam. From the get-go. Why? Because voting for it was expedient. Ms. Clinton is the epitome of political expediency. Just that one vote disqualifies her from ever being President. And how about that Bosnia fiasco? She was in a danger zone? Yeah, right. She doesn't mind a little exaggeration for the sake of expediency. Lying. No problemo. Someone do us all a big favor; please tell her to SHUT UP and GO AWAY!

Original article: Iraq: The ten commandments

We can't leave Iraq.

We haven't stolen their oil and we can't let the Chinese get it. We're not leaving till the last barrel's pumped.
