Don't ignore her

I agree with many of the letters here. Don't ignore her -- instead, make her poster child for the Republican Party.

I also have a suggestion for those who find her views repugnant. Do what I do: I now call her "nuclear waste dump." All the hateful thoughts and ideas of the world gather in her mind and are spit out of her mouth and pen. That's a lot of toxic waste. It won't go away; we can't just ignore it. Lots of people agree with her. So just always remember: She's not Ann Coulter, she's the world's nuclear waste dump.

It worked for Santorum!

Barndog: Ignore the fact

Ignore the fact that almost as many American soldiers have been killed in Iraq as were killed by the terrorists of 9/11. . .and ignore the fact that the world, and yes, the U.S., is MUCH MUCH worse off since 9/11 and this administration's assinine response to it.

Repugs are busy crowing, "But we haven't been attacked since 9/11" like that's some kind of a big accomplishment. Honey, this administration's actions have bred uncountable numbers of future terrorists. U.S., beware.

Pull Halliburton

Maybe if we get a Democratic-controlled Congress in the next election, we can "pull" Halliburton's no-bid contract. Then we'll see how quickly the Repugs work to get our troops home.

Sharansky's "simple test"

"Can a person walk into the middle of the town square and express his or her views without fear of arrest, imprisonment, or physical harm?"

U.S.A. no longer is able to pass this test. Remember protesters during the campaign being moved to the "free speech zone" which was three miles away from W's motorcade and fenced-in? That's not exactly the town square.

Moslem

Back in the "old days," Moslem was the correct term. If I remember correctly, it wasn't until the 70s, when Black Muslims made the news, that the term slowly changed from Moslem to Muslim. (And I often have to catch myself, because I still sometimes say Moslem.)

Abbott and Costello? Laurel and Hardy?

This is just another example of how incredibly inept this administration is. . .and at the same time, how corrupt.
