dreamz likable? NO WAY
[Read the article: Finale wrap-up: "Survivor"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]he is the perfect example of how you can't inject class and intellect into shoddy material. there was no way in he ll he was ever going to win votes from a jury after having shown how utterly lacking in any moral integrity he is. so in the end, he made absolutely no gain in his chances. if it were at all possible, he actually lost votes by screwing YauMan. He merely transferred the money from YauMan to Earl, and everybody knows this.

YOU are quoting FOX???
[Read the article: Will Wright hurt Obama's chances?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You have GOT to be kidding.
Might as well be quoting MAD magazine.

The FIX is sound
[Read the article: Lakers beat Celtics: Was the fix in again?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]None of the 'all or nothing' arguments made by NBA writers nullify the fact that the games Donaghy pointed out are at least 50% possibly fixed. Plausible deniability has been used over and over again, unless and until someone has hidden tape recorded audio or video that proves otherwise. Let's face it, noone goes around with that kind of equipment ready to catch the gotcha moment?
Therefore, it is up to the fan. And I for one, will never be convinced that gambling and profits are not powerful motives to cheat occasionally at opportune times, particularly where one cannot be proved to have cheated.
And so you accept that there will be some fixing here and there, that the commissioner has an iinterest in making the league "appear" clean. That he ideally wants to bring you the finest in partially scripted "sports entertainment" fiction.
Maybe you watch a little less, care a little less, and go watch a little league game with a tiny bit more integrity; go exercise, something more productive; that's all.

Just SAY it already, Tennessee has a lot of racists
[Read the article: Tennessee Dem leader suggests Obama has terrorist connections]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Journalists shouldn't be skirting around the issue. The politicians know full well that their constituency is populated with a significant amount who are in fact racist. They may say it's because of this or that, but let's get real, have you ever heard any legitimate policy gripe? Even black politicians in TN have to appeal to the white majority's 'values' to get anywhere. It's about time we call it what it is and quit pretending it isn't there.
