I believe that Hillary will do a great job, and it's a proper reward for her positive impact on the Democratic party. Her vigorous efforts strengthened Barack Obama for the primary election and played an important part in his victory. Her supportive speeches had a massive impact as well. I am looking forward to eight years of great leadership in this position from her.
I am very dubious about this as a reason. When the 1987 stock market crash happened in October, one of the major factors given was that an oil platform was bombed. C'mon, we drop a bomb or two on an isolated place and the net value of the stock market of the USA drops by 20 percent at least??
I really don't buy it. I believe that a select few leaders on Wall Street see the precursors of a drop or rise for the next day or during the day in language, behaviors, or comments of certain important officials and buy or short the stock. I think that they play the rise and fall like a child does when jumping a rope on the playground. They act on the precursor behavior and make money on either direction.
Sarah Palin is doing an interview with a TOMMY HILFIGER or similar label blouse on, talking about helping middle class America while the man is in the background forcing a live turkey down the chopping chute with the words "middle class" on the turkey. On the chopping chute it should say "Palin 2012".
Michele Obama has already said that her first job in life is to raise her daughters right and she has been very clear about that. She is moving her mother in to assist in this job. She has shown great examples to the voters regarding her drive to become well educated, her work history, and her dedication to motherhood as well. There is nothing "redundant" about raising successful children.
Jim Sinclair has dire predictions for the time ahead of us. For those investing in gold especially, this is a must-read. For others, it might be an eye-opener.
We are thrilled to death to get an intelligent man in office for the first time in a long time and here you are crying because Obama isn't doing YOUR bidding.
He's still about 2 months away from taking charge and is making appointments that any centrist should make. I'm glad that he has an ear for what McCain thinks as well as many others across both sides of the political spectrum.
It's a wise thing to angle to the middle when you are starting things off. People can't and aren't accusing him of being a wild-eyed leftist and are taking note of the thoughtful appointments that he is making from the near left and near right side of the aisle. The cries of "Muslim" are fading quickly in the distance. Obama is going to need a balanced feedback to solve or minimize one of the greatest economic challenges of the century. Let's give him ALL our support and prayers.
At the very least, the situation should have been declared by the judicial system a conflict of interest. If I were the guilty party I would file an appeal on this trial judgement ASAP!!!
