Original article: Goodbye to Audiofile

A SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS

I have to admit, since Bartlet left I haven't visited audiofile as regularly. This means once a week, a opposed to everyday. The sad story is, cultural cover at Salon is dismal. Now I read that you will be beefing up your T.V. coverage. Who cares? There are dynamic arts cultural happenings all over the world that inform our daily lives and provide insight into our contemporary mind set. I am a news junkie, but I also appreciate the Arts, knowing that at the end of the day it is our cultural artifacts and memories that survive. We will see how long I can keep up with Salon without the little candy I used to look forward to.

your are right.

You hit it right where it belongs. The facts are the facts. This coverage makes me sad, because it reminds me that our consciousness still has a long way to go.
