Jonathan, What are you sources (other than Israel Lobby smear attacks) for the allegation that "Mr. Freeman is on the international advisory board (and gets paid 10 grand a year) of a Chinese oil company that does business with Iran"? Note that even if this were true there is nothing illegal about it- The problem is your attacks on the character of a man who has a stellar record of public service for the sole reason that he does not toe the line when it comes to Israel.

These "warnings" were some of the most cynical tactics devised by Israeli army lawyers to preempt war crimes charges. The problem is THERE WAS NO PLACE TO GO to escape the bombing in the 360 square km concentration camp called Gaza where the civilian population has been under brutal Israeli siege for 2 years.

There is no end to the smear campaign. You have no shame attempting to portray a man who has consistently served the US for decades as a Saudi stooge without any shred of evidence. All this because he dared question the orthodoxies and control of the Israel Lobby which brought about such disasters as the Iraq war. Again I find nothing better than Freeman's own words to respond to the likes of you:

Sadly Obama showed he could be bullied on Israeli colonies in the West Bank by Benjamin Netanyahu. By doing so, he has killed any chances for a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict. The only options left now are:

1) Apartheid and ethnic cleansing(the current situation) with no civil rights for Palestinians. Palestinians will continue to be squeezed into ever diminishing Bantustans surrounded by "for Jews-Only" roads that Palestinians can be shot for attempting to cross.

2) Genocide (not a very far possibility given the likes of Avigador Lieberman and his threat to nuke Gaza)

3) A one state solution where all can have equal rights (anathema to Zionists)

Sadly the first 2 options are more likely. So looks like Obama's failure to push through a solution will be very costly in terms of human suffering and world peace.

It is time to dismantle the Israeli apartheid regime and give Palestinians equal rights to Jews.

Lieberman is one of the most powerful senators in spite of the fact that he supported the Iraq war knowing full well he would be sending Americans to die for Israeli domination of the Middle East and would be destrying the economy of the country in the process. He is no longer a Democrat (and yet managed to retain his seat!). He stands against the President's most important policies without fear of retribution.

What is his secret?

The Israel Lobby is behind him 100% as he is one of their most reliable voices in Congress. The Lobby will not stop until the US fights Israel's next war with Iran. Joe is working hard to make it happen.
