@misaac - Answers to your Questions

"If Israel is so powerful, why don't they expand more? Take of Jordan, which was part of the original plan under the British."

Israel's top priority is to maintain itself as a "Jewish state". This deeply racist outlook is something that is discussed openly in Israeli society! Israel is still working on digesting the land Zionists stole from the Palestinians and completing the ethnic cleansing of what remains of Palestine. In fact, the main driver of the "peace process" as far as Israel is concerned is maintaining the Jewish "purity" of the state as Ariel Sharon said to justify the withdrawal from Gaza. Hence the idea is to keep as much land and as few Palestinians as possible. Expansion would increase what Israeli leaders refer to as the "demographic threat".

"Also, if ME policy is run by Jews, why didn't the US bomb Riyadh and Cairo after 9/11? Why do we sell/give them so many US weapons?"

First of all, I don't think you should use the word "Jews" but rather the Israel Lobby in this context, as many Jews are supporters of peace and justice in the Middle East (but clearly not you assuming you are Jewish)

The Israel Lobby has no reason to want the US to bomb Riyadh and Cairo. Note that they do want the US to bomb Iran, though. Iraq is another example of the Israel Lobby getting the US government to act in ways that are contrary to American interests. The Egyptian government, on the other hand, is an ally of the US and has good relations with Israel (selling them natural gas at discounted rates). The Saudi government is also an ally of the US and is not hostile to Israel in any meaningful way.

For a serious discussion of the Israel Lobby see Walt and Mearsheimer http://www.lrb.co.uk/v28/n06/mear01_.html

"Remember, 5.25 million square miles of territory belonging to members of the Arab League, home to over 330 million people, whereas Israel covers only eight thousand square miles, and is home to seven million citizens, one-fifth of whom are Arabs. I guess that 8,000 sq. miles is too much for you. You seem a little obsessed."

How is this relevant? The Zionists stole the land of Palestine and ethnically cleansed its population (my family is one of those who were ethnically cleansed). How does the fact that there are Arabs living in other countries justify the theft and ethnic cleansing of Palestine? Would the fact that there are many Europeans living in Europe justify taking over France and ethnically cleansing its population?

he Zionist Right Wants War and Wants it Now

"The incident demonstrates the way in which the embrace by the GOP of elements of the Zionist right and fringes of Evangelical Christianity have made it hard to hold on to the growing Arab-American and Muslim-American vote."

The main agenda of the Zionist right is Israel's domination of the Middle East. Having "succeeded" in Iraq, they will continue to try to get America to fight Israel's wars -this time with Iran- under the guise of the war on terror. McCain, by buying into the neocons's story line, is doing a great disservice to the Republican party and to America.

Haaretz Report : Netanyahu says 9/11 terror attacks good for Israel & Israelis Dancing on 9/11

"Funny, I always thought Arab-rednecks were only in the occupied West Bank. I had that epithany when I saw a lot of those folks dancing in the streets when the Twin Towers fell on 9/11."

- David L

As usual, this is the kind of hateful lies that Zionists propagate. The were no Palestinians celebrating 9/11 (other than a couple of doctored photos created by right-wing Zionists). In fact, Palestinians were terrified that Israel would use the environment created after 9/11 to recapture the small parts of the West Bank that were not under full occupation (which happened in March 2002 with operation Defensive Shield)

On the other hand, there is strong evidence that 9/11 was "good for Israel" as former Israeli Prime Minister and Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu said.

There is also the story of the five dancing Israelis who had set surveillance cameras and were watching the twin towers on 9/11.

ElectroRobot starts his smear/obfuscation campaign (as usual)

I am greatly offended that you accuse me of denying the Holocaust, one of the greatest human tragedies of all time. I am not surprised though, because unfounded smears are a commonly used tactic by right-wing Zionists and Israel apologists such as yourself.

I want to point out though that many Jews have stood up against the use of the Holocaust to justify the murder and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their homeland. As Professor Norm Finkelstein, the son of survivors of the Warsaw Ghetto, wrote in the "The Holocaust Industry: The Business of Death"

"I do care about the memory of my family's persecution. The current campaign of the Holocaust industry to extort money from Europe in the name of the needy Holocaust victims has shrunk the moral stature of their martyrdom to that of a Monte Carlo casino."

By the way, my previous post was in response to another smear by David L accusing Palestinians of dancing in the street to "celebrate" 9/11 when it was actually 5 mysterious Israeli who had surveillance cameras of the World Trade Center and were celebrating afterwards

"Also, five of the Israelis came to the FBI's attention after they were seen by New Jersey residents on Sept. 11 making fun of the World Trade Center ruins and going to extreme lengths to photograph themselves in front of the wreckage. The FBI seized and developed their photos, one of which shows Sivan Kurzberg flicking a cigarette lighter in front of the smouldering ruins in an apparently celebratory gesture .
