I have news for you. The people wearing yellow stars in the present time are the captive Palestinian children of Gaza who are terrorized by one of the world's most powerful armies.

If you are such a guardian of the memory of the Holocaust, how come you don't speak out against the Israeli army's practice of using sonic booms as a collective punishment measure against the captive civilian population of Gaza in violation of the Geneva convention.
The problem with your use of the memory of the Holocaust is that it is highly selective and designed to deflect any criticism of Israel's war crimes. You clearly don't believe in universal human rights.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Of course I condemn the indiscriminate firing of primitive rockets on Israeli civilians by Palestinian groups. Not only is it a war crime it is also stupid.
But I think it is important to realize, as Jimmy Carter and most other observers have noted, that the majority of violence against civilians is directed at Palestinians. This is not to minimize the significance of the firing of rockets by Palestinian groups, but I think most Americans don't realize that almost 10 Palestinian children are killed for every Israeli child. At what point would Americans reclaim the Middle Eastern foreign policy which has been hijacked by the Israel Lobby?
At what point would people stand up against the Lobby's control of the public debate through intimidation and misinformation?
At what point would Jews realize that the Lobby's warmongering and its methods of control work against the interests of Jews in the long run?
