It's got to be clear...

to anyone with half a brain that the neocons/Israel Lobby have pulled a fast one on an America that was in a state of fear and confusion after 9/11. What I find amazing is how they have the audacity to play the same game having come close a number of times to getting America to start another disastrous war.

I guess there is no shortage of gullible and misinformed people (especially considering how the Lobby manipulates the MSM)

By now anyone with an iota of intelligence/critical thinking ...

knows that the neocons and Israel Lobby -keeping in mind that in most cases one cannot tell them apart- were behind the lies and deception that led to the disastrous Iraq war.

The two questions that remain:

1) Will the neocons ever face American justice for having intentionally misled America? (and having caused the death of thousands of American soldiers and over 1 million Iraqi civilians)

2) Will they be able to lead the US to war with Iran? I wouldn't underestimate the neocons by assuming they have given up on this after the NIE. It was only last week that Israeli defense minister Ehud Barack and former defense minister Shaul Mofaz ware in DC beating the drums of war.

@Dave Satan Playing the Victim

No amount of playing the victim will change the fact that Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz and fellow neocons/Israel-Lobby members were behind the lies and deception that led to the Iraq war.

The neocons and the lobby are now using the same tactics to start a war with Iran. Similar to the Iraq war, a war with Iran will be designed to achieve Israel's strategic objectives.

For you to attempt to silence this debate by reducing it to a supposed attack on Jews is rather pathetic and transparent.

"Elephantman" attacks Suskind's credibility!

"Elephantman", a neocon Israel-Lobby supporter, attempts to discredit a journalist who exposed the neocons' lies and deception. Now that's a surprise!

Count on McCain...

to increasingly play the fear card as he realizes that Obama is likely to win.

The Reference to Israel

The reference to Israel in the letter is rather interesting. Could this be part of the conspiracy by the neocons to create sympathy for Israel and blur the difference between Israel and America in "the war on terror" in the minds of frightened Americans in the aftermath of 9/11. Just a thought!

Manufacturing Fear

How convenient that Ivins "committed suicide" just as the Justice Department was about to charge him with responsibility for the attacks! I guess we won't hear much about the anthrax story anymore. Another key 9/11 story will be left largely undisturbed!

As absurd as it sounds, I wouldn't put it past Hillary Clinton!

Original article: Why Bush folded on Iran

A Minor Setback for The Neocon/Israel Lobby "Clean Break" Strategy for the New Middle East

Anyone who wants to understand the seemingly incomprehensible Middle Eastern policy of the Bush Administration post 9/11 should read the "Clean Break" report.

The "Clean Break" report (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Clean_Break:_A_New_Strategy_for_Securing_the_Realm) was prepared by the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies’ "Study Group on a New Israeli Strategy Toward 2000" in 1996 for Benjamin Netanyahu, the then-Prime Minister of Israel (and current leader of the fascist Likud party).

The group was led by Richard Perle and included many of the Zionist neocons who brought about the Iraq war (James Colbert, Charles Fairbanks, Jr., Douglas Feith, Robert Loewenberg, David Wurmser, and Meyrav Wurmser). The goal of the report was to describe how to reconfigure the Middle East along lines favorable to Israel, starting with (you guessed it!) undoing Iraq. Iran and Syria are next.

As professors Mearsheimer and Walt wrote in their paper on the Israel Lobby published in the London Review of Books ((http://www.lrb.co.uk/v28/n06/print/mear01_.html), the "clean break" report (I quoted this from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Clean_Break:_A_New_Strategy_for_Securing_the_Realm)

"called for Israel to take steps to reorder the entire Middle East. Netanyahu did not follow their advice, but Feith, Perle and Wurmser were soon urging the Bush administration to pursue those same goals. The Ha’aretz columnist Akiva Eldar warned that Feith and Perle 'are walking a fine line between their loyalty to American governments ... and Israeli interests'."

Meanwhile on the Republican Side ...

It gets even scarier -if this were possible- with Mr. Neo-con Israel Lobby "Iraq war was wonderful. Now let's bomb Iran" Joseph Lieberman being positioned as a "good veep" for McCain!

Original article: Obamanomics to the rescue

Obama's Foreign Policy and Soft Power

If Obama is elected, one of the key benefits for the US will be a renewed goodwill in the world toward America. This will revive the soft power America traditionally enjoyed pre-Bush.

When it comes to the Middle East -the source of much of the instability in the world today- Obama has to steer clear of the Israel Lobby and its destructive influence which played a major role in leading the US to war in Iraq (and could yet lead to an even more destructive war with Iran if the Lobby gets its way).

Sadly the fact that Obama has Dennis Ross (a key Israel Lobby player) as his main Middle East adviser - having shunned people like Robert Malley who don't subscribe to the orthodoxy of the Lobby - doesn't bode well for the future.

Israel is an apartheid state

You only have to look at the settlement colonies and the "for-Jews-only" roads that crisscross the West Bank to realize this fact. http://www.btselem.org/Download/Settlements_Map_Eng.PDF

Palestinians are not allowed to use or even cross these roads. Palestinians who dare cross these roads -which in many cases surround their communities- are often killed on the spot by the Israeli army as "terrorists".

It is a shame a black politician like Obama - who should know better - kisses the a$s of this racist state posing as a democracy!
