Maybe you know how to get ahold of these five but I bet most of your readers don't. On the other hand, it is pretty simple to get ahold of AMC(whether she replies to you is another matter). If you contacted AMC when she worked at time, it was fairly simple to figure out what Jay Carney & Joe Klein's email addresses were/are. I have received a few replies from Klein. Some nice, so not so. I suppose it is even pretty simple to get ahold of "The Shrill One", since he works at a prestigious university. The point being, the five above don't do anyone any favors in trying to hold them accountable. Was it Friedman or Brooks who said they'll only answer readers questions if it was sent typed via snail mail? Do George Will or Charles Krauthammer read the email readers send them? Doubt it. They are too good for it. A lot of columnists are too good to interact with their readers.
