I Honor You Mr. Keillor

Couldn't agree with you more on the above. I don't have anything against Mr. McCain, except his politics of course. I lived in Florida during the 2000 election and suffered through that whole debacle. I know I voted for Gore but then again many of our Jewish voters in Boca were recorded as voting for Pat Buchanan, so I'll be forever disturbed by the what if factor in that election. But finally after all I'd feared from this administration has come true we have a real opportunity to sweep THEM out. Sweep we must I say, with vigorous, happy, and yes, lustful strokes. Women must recognize McCain for what he is, namely a nice guy, a war hero but nonetheless a guy who will pay back his supporters by abetting the erosion of rights intrinsic to the daughters of America. And by that I mean Roe V Wade.

As for you Mr. Keillor I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the pleasure you gave to my father over the years. He never missed a broadcast of yours and we often listened together. He was a fine, well traveled, and intelligent man and I think you would have liked him very much. His name was Frank Chancler and he died nearly two years ago. Thank you for the pleasure you brought to him. You are a voice of reason in the midst of the storms of ignorance and ill humor that barrage us all the more frequently in these troubled times. If I could I would hug you wearing a wet bathing suit.

That is awful Kafir

Shame on you. To equate this loss with your description is obscene, pornographic even. There is simply no logical comparison between the two and the fact that you insist upon one merely confirms my opinion of the general level of intelligence prevalent amongst those who think like you do.

What happened to Elizabeth is doubly tragic because there is no explanation, nothing obvious. When someone miscarries we are often wont to say that it was "nature's way." Indeed this is often the case. But when one loses a child at term, a seemingly perfect baby with nothing obviously wrong it defies our logic. Life and death is a mystery that we will never solve. Cherish life, be careful, but live.

How happy I am that you have a new baby Elizabeth! Don't make the same mistake that my mother made, in similar circumstances as you. It was years before I learned that I wasn't an only child after all, that indeed, I had a brother. An older brother that had died just as he began to live, just like your baby.

It took a psychic, who insisted I was not an only child to prompt me to confront my parents. Mom has still never come to grips with it. Me? I talk to my older brother every once in a while and I have no doubt that he is there, somewhere.

I applaud the courage of women who are confronted by a tragic prenatal testing result. Your choice is correct whichever you choose.

And Elizabeth, may sunshine and fragrant flowers grace the path of childhood to come.

Cheers!

bears, science, doggone forked tongue politician talk, science, abortion

At this point it's not about the bears. McCain is flailing about like a madman with a delirious fever and lets face, it the Republican Party IS NOT the party of science. Science is the hope of mankind... the whole big picture. Praying to God won't do much except make you feel better for a few minutes. Science, on the other hand will save your kid when he's diagnosed with leukemia, restart your Dad's heart when he has a heart attack, and understand that geological changes are happening and a tsunami is coming. Just a few examples.

I can't help but think that much of our modern day science surely doesn't make sense to our Vice Presidential Candidate, Sarah Palin. From what I've heard she believes that the earth was created less than ten thousand years ago... not sure where she learned this (she attended an awful lot of colleges so hard to pin down, none will admit to this piece of knowledge) my best guess is watching the Flintsones on television?!! Or was it a vision you had while you were speaking in tongues. Parade your mongoloid child around at midnight some more Sarah... ever calculate how much money this child will cost the system over the cost of his lifetime? I am not denying his "right" to life, but lets get real here. I look forward to the photos of you caring for him when he is fifty or more years old. Good thing your family is earning in the six figures because you'll need it in the future. Downs children are expensive when they're children and even more as they get older. But of course you're a Republican and you expect to pay for all of your child's care youself. Right? It was your CHOICE! You Repubs are interested in less government, correct? Pay for it then.

Sweet Downs baby but Sarah isn't it time to put him to bed? All of America has seen your "special" baby many times by now. Give him a break and get him off camera and to bed at normal times for crying out loud. BTW abortions are a welcome option for many women, a relief actually for most women who have them... just saying. Bow out of this whole thing. Probably too late now, and you strike me as the sort of person who will not learn... only good thing to come from your foray into this fray is that your term as Alaskan governor will likely be shorter. You should not have any position in government in this country. Your idea of Democracy is so completely warped. I suggest that you start a church in some place like Texas, you'll make a fortune.

Adios.
