[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You're right, of course. My wife makes the same point. I guess I don't really thing of forum exchanges as writing. Sometimes it isn't? But breaking paragraphs at logical points is something I'll try to work on. that, and watching the fog index and the obscenity quotient. thanks tom

aka liar
[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]No, not you, smith. Hillary. Now she is indeed saying she criticized the war before Obama did. So, that makes her gullible as well as truth-impaired. So, Smith, that makes her a lying asshole. That's gender neutral. Or, find an orifice reference with which you're comfortable.
There's always the chance that lying will work. This is not one of those instances. Doesn't she know that there are cameras and recorders every-flipping-where? Guess not. Duh.

Kate Visits the Nether Regions
[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You, the very model of propriety, delving into Mr. Matthews and his "hairy nether regions". His twig and berries? Hot dog and olives? Loosen up. The fact you find a post too disingenuous for words merely means that you can't think of them. Hillary's good at making up words. And facts. Even when they don't exist. Now, that's disingenuous. In Wyoming, we called that lying. Because it is. The L word that should be of greatest concern to you (of even more profound disturbance than the C, N, A, D, or other words known only by their letters) is loser. with every day, every lie, every dumbass move by a key staff member (how ironic that Penn may help blow, if you'll pardon the term, Penn-sylvania). Flush twice: it's a long way back to the Senate. Now, remove your virginal mind from Chris' nether regions. That is not an image I would personally prefer to have as I ascend the stairs to bed. gonna read a few more pages of gary wills' What Paul Meant, then log some zzzz's. I was out late playing music in a local pub last night, and I can't run with the big dogs any more. But I can bark.

samantha bee
[Read the article: Can Stephen Colbert save America?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Karen, Ms. Bee had a child about a year and a half ago, is certainly appears to me to be in the process of birthing number 2. She's on at least once a week, and she's very bright and very funny just like the rest of the gang. Is giving birth sexist? Is taking care of an infant sexist? Grow up. OOOOh, there's sexism everywhere- even in biology.

McClinton
[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Ah, memories of McBird, 1967. But Hill doth far too close resemble she for whom the dagger floated seeming in mid-air. And Birnham Wood ain't comin' to Dunsinane.

KateTex LowTech Blow job
[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]First, it's canonization, you twit. But let's go with your malapropism. Blow him away. Shoot the coon. sounds about right for you folks. Quicker than lynching, don't take no rope or no tree. Trouble is, the only thing that's shot is Billary's campaign. The Klintoonians always did cleave to the blow job.

karenbbgun
[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]rodham- who claims to be from Illinois, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, or New York as suits her constantly morphing purposes- was elected entirely because her name is Clinton. At least Eva Peron had her own following. Her insult to women who choose to actually raise their children, at least in the cookie years, was an elitist slur. My daughters are both on a very very long hiatus from six figure income jobs because they actually want to know who their children are without having to ask the nanny. PIss off.

Villiage Smithy Pounds Away
[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The Clintons are not racist. NOt close. They are opportunists, to the bone, or the boner, respectively. They have a harmonious history with the black community when it suits them, but they'd knife Obama in the back with a homemade shiv without blinking an eye. It's about power, not race or gender. Naked ambition, power uber alles. You become less convincing by the day, as your candidates lies and triangulations send her sliding down the polls, as Monica slid down Big Bill's pole. Losers.

chhabili
[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Thanks, very much. Actually, the tripe I throw down here is not at all indicative of my "normal" style. It's the novel, Berkeley Blues, that's most likely to get converted to a screenplay. It does have humor in it, and politics, and music. I was those years, the mid sixties, that gave an incurable case of political optimism, with long lapses in which I wax comatose and cynical, alternately. The optimism is coming to the fore, against all odds. As the song went back in the day, "ain't gonna let nobody turn me 'round". That's Gospel, both senses. Up the revolution, and, to the horse's ass clintonista neigh-sayers, up yours as well. tom

kannibal kate
[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What might placing Obama in front of a cannon entail, oh one of deli-kate sensibilities? What does a cannon do, normally? As far as eating their own, no one out eats Big Bill and Hill the Shrill. Ask Bill Richardson. Or Chris Dodd. You know: some of the ones who didn't run in florigan or michida when Hillary won "her" delegates. And who died in left you in charge of thread morality? Human is as human does. When someone posts something that sounds like someone who might walk erect, I respond accordingly. Otherwise, whimper in your chaise lounge on the veranda. Have Uncle Ben gettcha a julep. Almost Derby time. Hillary should do well in that race, what with all the spare horse's asses for that finishing kick. Salud, amor, y pesetas, y el tiempo para gastarlas. tomas

joan conroy
[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The post of the thread! Hear, hear. My wife and I are also in our sixties, and are galled at the meme that Obama appeals to college students with glazed expression while Hillary appeals to older working women with glazed donuts. Poppycock. Obama is the most convincing candidate I've seen since 1968. And heaven knows we've been looking. You trumped the other joanie phony, big time. Thank you! tom
