"Honest John: The Lobby Whore Years", a touching story of how a vietnam victim turns himself into another kind of John, screwing the people on behalf of the wealthy. Another lovely story would be how he kicked his first wife to the curb after having an affair with his now-wife, the brain dead arm candy that's "always proud of America". Miss Congeniality.

Fester is right, predictably enough. LBJ rode a wave of post-JFK national sentiment, and his own quite impressive knowledge of how congress works, to pass the civil rights and voting rights acts of 64 and 65. It was the civil rights movement, of which MLK was the eloquent champion, that made it all possible. It's almost baseball season, so I'll make it simple for Shawn: MLK was the starting pitcher, and LBJ was a pinch hitter. Watch out for those eloquent darkies, though. Empty suits. No voting record. Nothing but words.

That's tellin' em, granny. You show those uppity whippersnappers just what a third Bush term will do for health care, foreign policy, financial stability. As the grandfather of four (and counting), I find your misguided "sexual identity" pathetic. What Ferraro said, and what Hillary did nothing to correct until a firestorm broke out, was race baiting that would have done Archie proud. When all this posturing, preening, prigging, and pouting is over in a month or two, we better get our old asses, male or female, out of neutral and beat John McLame, whose platform differs from that of our hero, The Decider, not a micrometer. So, hold your breath until you, and your hair, turn blue. Then, grow up and get over it. I'll be driving my '94 Buick LeSaber, affectionately known in the family as the biddiemobile, down to the precinct to do what I can, Hillary or no Hillary. Beat the fascists. That's all that really counts. Wounded virtue is worth precisely nothing.

Tell us, please, what is it about the republikan "conservative" policies that have worked so well you want to continue them? The only reason a reactionary would cross over to vote for Billary is to monkey wrench the Democratic primary. typical. What Obama is trying to do is grow the party. Uppity quiche eating latte sipping elitist.

Deep truth? Deep dung. What is Obama's wife going to say? Vote your conscience, or vote for my husband. Jeez, what a non-starter. At the beginning of this campaign, when Billary was sailing to victory, the mantra was " is Obama black enough". Now that he's winning, and will continue to win as the process plays out, suddenly the Hillbots are pissing and moaning that he's too black. He's half white, actually, but in racist America, which lives on in every virulent festering "feminist" post, one drop of African blood spoils the whole batch. Here's a clue, Sherlock: for the remainder of this campaign, let's stipulate that Hillary has a vagina and Obama is a black man. At some point, perhaps you can delve into you deep well of truth and tell us why the hell that should matter. caucasianally yours, an aged veteran and a you know what lover, heywood

by the time of the Penn. primary, those dollars will be worth four. Better up the bet. Two points: unless HIllary beats Obama by 20 points in Penn. and keeps rolling, it won't make up the gap. Won't happen. She'll win by less than ten. He'll win at least two or three of the remaining states. By June, we'll be pretty much where we are now, except more of us will have been foreclosed upon, had loved ones die in Iraq or for the lack of decent health care in America, and the environment will have continued to degrade. Obama will still lead McLame, and Hillary will still trail. What I don't know is what the ironically name Super Delegates will do. They're insiders, and they are HIllary's only chance.

Please don't say you're depriving us of your profound insights into the realities obscured from us common folk. Folkers, you'd call us. And here I was planning my weekend around sitting at the foot of the Master. Not master race, mind you, just The Big Guy. You've led a damned sheltered life if I'm the most divisive person you've encountered. The boob in the bubble. Thing is, I suspect you're actually a fairly reasonable sort. No evidence has been forthcoming of late, but redemption is always available. No deposit, no return. kisses, tommy

Susan Estrogen is a very bright woman- brilliant, really. But she's a Fuxxsnooze talking head, so you'll pardon me (like Georgie did Scooter) if I take her analysis with some circumspection. Ever been circumspected? Ouch. Play on.....

A white male liberal Obama voter from a couple congressional districts north of you, I wonder why Ms. Ferraro took such pains to point out the self-evident. She's no dullard. The identity principle is something we learned in grade school. Obama is black. What troubles me is the causal link, that he is where is he primarily (or, you could infer from ms ferraro) or solely in his position as the front runner due to the fact he is the race he is. Novel, that. A black man in America is lucky, gets the breaks, gets cut slack, because of his blackness. The problem, sir, is that who Obama is is inextricably linked with his racial, cultural, and immutably personal characteristics. I've watch the Ferraro clip; I've read the text, more than once. I have a hard time being convinced she was calmly pointing out that his campaign might have been enhanced by his racial identity. Doesn't pass the smell test. It sounded, and read, as a blunt slur, a condescending statement. On an entirely unrelated note, Feinstein is rapidly approaching Joe Lieberman territory in being a DINO. When and if she runs, I'll vote for her opponent in the primary. Not the general. No republikans at any level, ever, until further notice or Lincoln reanimates, whichever comes first.
