Jack's Off
[Read the article: Still more extraordinary anti-democracy comments from Giuliani]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hatred of the Bushistas is not irrational. they've killed more Americans than Bin Laden, and massacred more than half a million Iraqi civilians, and made more than 2 million into refugees. On a more mundane level, they're pissing away a billion a day on Bush's Personal War that might better be used to, say, rebuild New Orleans, or fund research to cure diseases. But, no. You and George bloody your thick pugs against the same wall day after day, calling it persistence when it's plainly, screamingly, blunt stupidity. You're off, Jack.

Edwards is The Right Candidate
[Read the article: John Edwards live]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm as intrigued and impressed by Obama as the next person, but Edwards has the goods right now. The other evening, we watched him at an hour long town meeting at the University of New Hampshire. His command, his sinceriy, his believability, were rivetting. He's like Clinton with guts and morals. Not Hillary. She has no guts.

Political Relativity
[Read the article: John Edwards live]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Edwards is not, and does not pretend to be, "far left". He only seems far left because we're ruled by fascists. A moderate, rational Democrat seems like a leftist after the goosestepping fools that have been "leading" us since the 2000 coup.

Escalation
[Read the article: The people who claim "the surge is working"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The "surge" has sure been a bang up success. Unfortuanately, the bangs are bombs killing American and British soldiers (25 so far this month; Happy Easter), and averaging three a day or so, just like that last four futile, fascist years. Bagdhad's a little quieter; why, John McLame walked around a marketplace with only fifty armed guards. Just like your local mall. Elsewhere in Iraq, as is completely painfully predictable, the violence has increased proportionately. We've merely displaced the death. Great plan. Pure Bushit. We will never, can never, quell this insurgency. We're the primary cause. Yes, there will be Suni and Shiite and Kurd murders in the thousands after we leave. For Christ's sake, that's what's happening now. The Kool-aid idiots still bloody their thick skulls against the same IED embedded wall and are surprised when it keeps blowing up. Sickening, and it's Bush's Personal War and the Republikans will pay a justly deserved price with a world class ass kicking in the 08 elections. Bigger Dem majorities in both houses, guaranteed, and and Dem president, unless we hand them Hillary.

Democratic Ideals
[Read the article: John Edwards live]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]From FDR on, one of the central organizing principle has been, or should have been, standing up for the working people of this country- the ones who built this land, who pay the taxes, who fight the wars. John Edwards has stood for this his entire professional and political life. He was the most feared personal injury attorney on the East Coast, and perhaps the country. He took corporations to the woodshed on behalf of those who couldn't defend themselves or obtain justice. Because he was so great at this, he made a lot of money. Some hold that against him. Bullfeathers. Was he supposed to raise his family in a trailer and work entirely pro bono because of some twisted notion of idealism? Get real. Since he left the Senate (and Joemetum Lie-berman did not) to run for vice president, he's established an extremely effective poverty eradication center in North Carolina, and traveled the world to learn, and to preace the gospel of economic equality. How much else can a man do to convince you of his sincerity? Set himself on fire on the White House lawn? The man's real; he's my first choice. Obama next, then Richardson. Not Hillary, not ever. She's as phony as Edwards is real.

Jimmy C the Pharisee
[Read the article: The American media's fringe ideological view of Pelosi's trip]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]thanks for clearing that up, that Christ condones slavery. Anything for the Holy Dollar, eh, Jimmy C.? What was that about the camel and the needle's eye? Oh, yeah, the Bible is literal, so it couldn't be a metaphor. Jesus would never use symbolism or metaphor, right Jimmy? You and your Pharisee brethren are in for a really big surprise in the hereafter. "whosoever does this to one of the least of these, my children, has done it unto Me." Explain that away. Having some golden calf for dinner? Hear they're yummy, especially if they're raised by slaves. Truly amazing, Murkan "christianity". It's a mockery. No wonder the world disbelieves.

Bush's War Update
[Read the article: To Damascus with Nancy Pelosi]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]While all you fascist apologists are foaming at the mouth about Ms. Pelosi having the temerity to actually talk to a middle east "adversary", 24 more American soldiers have died in Bush's Personal War. Happy Easter.

Biblical Babble
[Read the article: The American media's fringe ideological view of Pelosi's trip]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]All manner of hypocrisy is being used to excuse whatever death the Israelis visit on the Palestinians. And I note your neat side-step of the slavery issue you were touting; that is NOT and employer-employee relationship, for Christ's sake, literally. The quote from Matthew is not about Jews; it's about humanity. Christ died for all our sins, and not Jewish sins, Republican sins, or liberal sins. And I'll thank you not to condescend, or play teacher. Rabbi you ain't. Whether or not you're a Christian is not a matter of profession; it's a matter of living what the Gospel teaches. When Jews murder children on the West Bank or in Gaza, it's murder. God is no respector of persons. God is not a white male protestant American republican. You sound suspiciously like Brother Swaggart, or Brother Falwell, or Brother Bakker. Judge not lest ye be judged. America is about as Christian as Sodom.

Jimmy the Seer
[Read the article: The American media's fringe ideological view of Pelosi's trip]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Jonathan, don't you know God wanted Dumbya to be president so he could do all these marveleous christian things, like kill half a million Iraqi civilians, drive 2 million Iraqis from there home (if they're still standing, which is a long shot), and make Helliburton and the gang filthy richer than they already were? Isn't that pure Christianity, Murkan style? Get with the program, Jonathan. Jim has a direct line to the Almighty. It's just like a fax machine, only it's a suppostiory.
