The original name of the airport is the George Washington National Airport. Why Reagan trumps Washington is beyond me. And I never call it "Reagan."
I grew up during the 80s and one of my most vivid memories of Reagan is when he traveled to Germany and laid a wreath at the graves of SS officers at Bitburg cemetery. He later said they were victims, too.
