One the first things the Nazis did in Germany and the Fascists Italy in the 30's was to outlaw labor unions. Conservatives hate unions. That is why they are attempting to blame the unions for the problem. Need I say more? I won't go so far as to call the conservatives Fascists. But only because I don't want to insult any Fascists that may log on.
If the people in financial institutions and on wall street that brought about this financial failure are the "best and the brightest" that america has,we are down the tubes no matter what we do. Kick them all out and hopefully they will decide to leave the country. Let's see what the second best can do.
It never crossed my mind that anyone would consider any person in the Bush junta as the best or brightest in any way. Unless of course one considers lying and knowingly lying, to the congress, the United Nations and the american people, to start a war as a good thing. Not to mention illegal spying, the barbaric torture measures, the list is to long to enumerate. It seems as though it's been awhile since we have had any bright people in government.
The best way for the U. S. to get back to world leadership would be to send our ex prez and his cohorts to other countries and the financial wizards with them. We would see how soon they would morally, ethically and financially ruin them, as they did us.
