Sigh you people

"Macs never crash". - You obviously never worked as a techie or you would have replaced CMOS batteries way back in the good ol' days of LC475's and LC575's.

Back in the day of working as a depot tech, for every 10 PC's in for repair, 1 Mac came in. Don't be thinking that points to how much better Mac's are. It just points to how much fewer people owned one. And the problems with each side were exactly the same.

Motherboards needed to be replaced. Hard drives. Memory. Defective Fans. You name it. Doesn't matter what it is.

A computer is just a computer. If you disagree with that statement, what kind of mental telepathic hold does Jobs, Gates, or Torvalds have over you?

It's the same for both sides. Sit a Mac or a PC out of the box all by itself humming away doing nothing. Neither crashes, am I right? Now start adding components and software. Start adding in 3rd party drivers. Things are starting to look shakey, aren't they?

Does a Treo out of the box crash? Or after you've introduced 3rd party software into it? As for this iPhone. Some say it crashes, other say it don't. It's got SO many features. Why such surprise and shock when things don't run perfectly? Running an OS + all sorts of plugins.

Wait for a firmware upgrade or the next version is what I say. Otherwise I'd say it's probably OK for what it can do. Same for Blackberries, Treos, or whatever does the job.

If this was a man asking...

...you people would tear him to shreds.

But this is a woman asking and we're so forgiving.

That's the new female empowerment

One look at the establishment - you see and know exactly what it is. Restaurant that serves OK food and has girls dressed up as sexy waitresses. Your choice to work there - or not.

I can see where this is going. More female exploitation! More females treated as sex objects, loved for their beauty and NOT their brains!

There is a difference between a woman choosing to work as a waitress, or choosing to work at the Gap/Mexx/Armani/any other retail outlet. But bottom line - THEY CHOSE to work where they are. Sure it's minimum wage working in retail versus minimum wage + tips working for say Hooters. But nobody's forcing them to work here or work there. It's not exploitation if they get to chose what they wish to do with their life.

They could continue their studies in law school and do the things they need to do as a law student. They could practice in medicine or do their time as any medical student would.

Look at Pussycat Dolls. They're hugely successful, they flaunt it, they know exactly what they're doing(lip syncing music with stripper dance moves), and they're getting away with it and making a killing in the process.

That's sexist

"Diet-friendly" is not just for women, hello out there.

There are men who also cut down on the size of their meals or disallow themselves from eating certain amounts of food or certain types of food. We're not all barbarians just to clarify.

The weight trainers and fitness buffs amongst us know well the importance of measuring what, and how much, we eat.

Not just for the women.

Sigh he's just looking

How is that different from when a girl is sizing up a handsome guy?

It's no different.

So many of you are making such a big deal over this. We humans are visual creatures, when something catches our attention, guess what?

We look.

The best advice for this came from a woman "Look, but don't stare".

Sounds about right to me.

So now we're going after other cultures

Broadsheet's now taking swings at other cultures? I wonder what's next. What makes broadsheet so smug that it can impose American feminist standards against how other cultures have been doing for many decades, if not many hundreds of years?

Realize for once that just because feminists in America have it this way or that, doesn't mean that all women in all cultures have to go by your subjective opinions.

Some of you are just so black and white...

God sake it's as if merely LOOKING at another woman means BAM cut off his penis RIGHT NOW. Such extremists you people are.

I bet you very same extremists would give a woman the green light if the shoe was on the other foot. And if it's a man, immediately castrate him for any and all perceived crimes against women.

What, are we lapdogs to be trained and to behave exactly how you want us to behave? Get real, because that's the EXACT moment you woman start losing interest in us. When there's no challenge left.

Mrs Rapist rapist rapist

Funny how it's those very people who preach against so strongly - for example hard-core gay bashers are actually have something they're deep ashamed of...and are trying to hide.

So YOU Mrs rapist rapist rapist with your 50+ points on "blah blah under EVERY circumstance you are a rapist".

You should have replaced the word "her" under the victim category with "him/her". That way you wouldn't appear so biased. Newsflash, guys get raped too.

But I think you're hiding something.

Sigh more extremists

It's simply going overboard.

Pretty soon just because a man bumps into a woman, is grounds for an immediate beheading.

But that's already how it should be eh Linney?

Extremists like you are the exact reason why Feminism isn't winning more of the people they NEED on their side to make more changes happen - and that's more men.

Until you can convince men of all ages...the older men in your family, the crusty war vet from Vietnam...the 5 year old kid...the newly landed immigrants from Mexico...to believe in feminism, it ain't happening.

And especially not with that "women are helpless, not their fault, immediately slaughter the men who believe otherwise" attitude.
