what chinese copyright

Now that's funny. The Chinese really don't care what they copy, where they copy, how they copy. They copy *literally everything* that *can* be copied. Everything. Don't think for a second that even infant formula is spared.

They pay lip service "oh yeah, oh yeah, we'll work on the copying problem" but seriously, it's not high on their list of priorities. They know full well the problem on their hands, but they really don't care about how much their people copy from American stuff anyways. China wants their people to invest in their own country, so any pirating from a foreign country really doesn't matter. They do censor all kinds of films from America, but when the pirated(uncensored) version appears from the Chinese street vendor, they don't care. Why?

Because it's not the real thing anyways.

cogs in the wheel

This is why it doesn't pay to be anything these days but a Manager or some position in management. Doesn't what you are...plumber, electrician, technician, engineer...you're just another cog in the machine, answering to someone who knows less than you, possesses only people skills and doesn't need to continuously upgrade like you.

You can be the best writer in the world but at the end of the day you're just another slave who's racking his/her brain to come up with something clever to put into the next hot actress' mouth. It sucks eh? You'll never get the fame and glory that the pretty face does.

TV is becoming obsolete

I personally don't watch much TV, and the TV I *do* watch, might be some silly reality show and maybe some news but all of that above, I can find online anyways.

Like it or not, reality shows are taking off as the next big thing. You don't need as many writers, production costs are comparatively low vs. a single episode of say Friends.

All this is really about money. I did this, so therefore I expect to be compensated for every time this happens or is aired and so forth.

still biased, everytime

This won't be the last time people writing in favor the women over the man, no matter what the circumstances.

Reverse the man and woman around and people here will STILL be favoring the woman. Not enough people looking at it from the man's point of view.

It is cool to beat on the man

Even when we reverse the genders around, it's still fashionable to beat on the man, because men are in abundance and thus expendable and women are rare and thus to be prized and treasured, am I right?

Have any of you ever worked in customer service? Getting yelled at all day? You can only tell yourself "don't take it personally" so long and so many times. Doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman. The job erodes you and slowly destroys you. Now try managing customer service. You are the point of escalation when your call center reps can't take any more, or simply have to escalate. You are taking the worst brunt of the blows. "Suck it up" is something told to a man, but never to a woman.

Top that off with being in a town where you know nobody, you have no peers at work, work in a dissatisfying job, come home and see your partner doing well, and you wonder what the hell's wrong with *you*, why can't you do likewise. This letter could have been from either a man or a woman. So why beat on the man?

men vs women

so what else is new.

It's not like we men DON'T want to help. If we men said to you women "why can't you stack the dishes MY way", or "you're doing it wrong/slow/bad, stop it, I'll do it for god sake", then you women would know exactly why we stay out in the living room.

If you women just put aside the control freak tendencies and just let others do this or that, then we wouldn't even be talking about any of this. Just because it isn't done exactly the way you do it, doesn't make it wrong. When you try to do everything yourself, well no surprise you have no time in the day to do anything else.

so simple

Just do what the Chinese do.

Give them a red pocket envelope. Problem solved.

missing the point entirely

This article completely misses the point.

TMZ wasn't ragging on JLH on her hip size, nor the size of her backside, or her legs for that matter.

It was focusing on the unsightly cellulite build-up on the back of her legs and butt. That's all it was. TMZ was contrasting *that*, versus the scrumptious ads and other hot depictions of JLH on film and such.

Not trying to defend TMZ here - they are what they are - TMZ is crass, rude, materialistic, and highly deserving of nearly any negative comment - but that's what the site is about.

Don't forget...

...that the judge is female.

Bit of a setback there for ya girls eh?

Original article: Quote of the day

Sorry but...

The Judge was right.

It's not about whether you're male or female. You don't get into a car with someone you don't know, or compromise your situation any further than it already is, with someone you just met.

Original article: Shaming Jamie Lynn Spears

Blah just another pregnancy, so what

Anyways if anyone is to gain from this, it'll be the guy. Why?

Because she's the one who's rich. If all goes well for the first little bit they'll live together for a while, and if things go sour, well he'll get a nice chunk of the Spears fortune due to common-law status.

Nobody ever thought of that eh?
