I have a natural solution

If your man is demanding "virginity", it's likely he's not too experienced himself. Just schedule your honeymoon (or whenever you plan to do the deed) for the 1st day of your period. Doofus will probably be totally fooled by the - yikes -blood!

Original article: WTF of the day

What's the problem?

If people (men) get these fembots, it seems like the only people who should be complaining are the low-wage housekeepers, homecare workers, and sex workers.

But do they believe in Jesus?

Sound like smart people - I'll bet they believe in evolution!

GOP not know for intelligence

These dopes are delusional if they think they have the makings of an Obama backlash. It's like getting 1 number in the Pick6 and claiming you WON the lottery.

Who reads Details?

Isn't most of the readership gay? Don't even think this article would apply?

Don't assume anything

Your boyfriend will be focussing on taking care of his dying mother for the foreseeable future - that means your relationship with him will remain static - do not expect any support or concern for your problems or the relationship - he has something much more important to deal with.

Unlike Cary's advice, I would ask him specifically if and how he wants you to support him. Give him a little time - a couple of days - if he can't articulate what he wants - then you should decide for yourself about your own next steps and seriously consider going back to grad school.

No one appreciates a martyr.

Dog whistling past Dixie

Read the code words:

Northerners = NY Jews

Atheists = random Asians - Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Indians

I'm surprised he didn't find a way to cram ni**ers in there, too!

Republitard.

Pathetic and stooopid

"But for me, this controversy is an excellent and necessary reminder that the Obamas are neither my peers nor garden-variety celebrities. Among other things, they're now tasked with proving to the world that Americans really do want to be represented by serious, thoughtful people"

Kate Harding seemed to be the only member of your round table of dunces who had any bit of sense. The author needs to work out her body issues in private and not drag Michelle Obama into it. But I guess her big booty is the only thing she's got going for her, like some other celebutard we can see on TV every day.

Original article: First lady got back

REMOVE THIS STORY!!!

What is this - US Weekly or Big Booty monthly? As a woman of color, I am deeply offended and angry that you are wasting time and critical space on a crap "story" like this.

Did they get communion when they voted for Shrubby?

Were parishoners denied communion if they voted for Shrubby in 2004 after he invaded Iraq and killed thousands of innocent people (including babies and fetuses) in order to get oil and rich reconstruction contracts?

Anyone who still pays any attention to these pedophile protectors seriously needs help.

GOP needs its own reality show network

ShameTV, a new 24/7 reality network funded by Daddy Dobson, Smitin' Pat Robertson and Halliburton premieres its new lineup:

"Finding My Way Back" with disgraced congresscritter Mark Foley. See Foley in "rehab", watch as his former colleagues run from his phone calls.

"Pallin' Around with the Palins" with America's favorite disfunctional family. Babymama drama, fightin' in-laws, political corruption, where's Trig?

"Clearing Brush with Shrubby" with George & Laura Bush. See Laura pack her stuff and move to penthouse condo in Dallas. Watch George turn into a couch potato, find out where the Secret Service hides the booze.

Coming in January on ShameTV!

I think Mike Bloomberg was supposed to be in there somewhere.

Original article: GOP prospects for 2012

You can't run, you can't hide

What FilthyHarry said.

The kind of candidate who excites the theocratic right will scare off Independents and Dems. And without the fundicrats, GOP has no foot soldiers.

And nominating an "ObamaRight" is pointless - why would anyone buy the faint imitation?

The Grifters

These people need a reality show:

Greed & money-grubbing - check

Babymama drama - check

Illegal drugs - check

Random criminal activities - check

Toxic relatives - check

Government corruption - check

Disgruntled former employees - check

Bling! - check

Pallin' Around with the Palins would get better ratings than American Idol - these folks are more messed up than Whitney & Bobby!

Original article: Condi Rice on Obama

WTF?

"When she made that infamous slip and called George W. Bush "my husband," I winced for her; I didn't see it as sexual, but as an unconscious yearning for the family and stability she's never had, which she found in the Bush White House, sad as that is."

Condi Rice grew up in a two-parent household, both parents were educators. She obtained a PhD. She had steady (and prestigious) employment with the US government and Stanford University.

She wasn't dragged around the country as a child by bumpkins or in imminent danger of starvation. What lack of stability and family are you talking about?

GOP to go the way of the dodo bird?

The GOP has alot of soul searching to do. The thorough rejection of McCain and Palin and their divisive, racist campaign should make the party think about whether they want to become an ever marginalized bunch of theocratic bigots or figure out a strategy and message that makes sense to the new America.

Their race-baiting scare tactics didn't work with Jewish voters in Florida, Latinos in Colorado, Asian Americans or Blacks in any state, and they lost all the educated White folks.

After the "regular" people in Ohio and Virginia came on board the Obama train, all the GOP had left were a few delusional fundamentalists and corporate pirates.

Time to get a new game.

That must have hurt.

Running AGAINST the voters

Chambliss should remember that "the other folks" were potential supporters and are currently his constituents.

That's the biggest difference between a GOP and Dem campaign and philosophy of governing.

Thursday, October 30, 2008 02:55 PM

Let's get this party started!

@the beagle of doom & pubius maximus - I'm right there with you!

I've had my eye on a nice outfit at the local A/X Armani. I figure I can pull the 5-finger discount Tuesday night while everyone's distracted watching CNN.

Early voting not convenient in some states

In my state, you can vote early, if you go to the County Clerk's office between 8:30am - 4pm. Not really an option if you work or attend school.

Thursday, October 30, 2008 06:50 AM

@Matt7 - you must be an Elitist!

with all that math-type stuff. But good catch - I don't think any of the media is taking this into account.
