I'm getting cold chills...

.. down my spine with this one. This has GOT to be headline news, and we've GOT to make sure this gets attention. Any suggestions for how??? This is so much worse than the NYPD repression in 2004! The Right has successfully, and with nary a wimper from Dems, conflated terrorism with lawful left/liberal protest, with no evidence linking the two whatsoever. I am shaking with rage.

@Wright

Wright, peaceful disruption, including sit-ins and blockades, are exactly how Jim Crow was defeated and divestment from South Africa was achieved, and are totally legitimate means of protest. It's called civil disobedience. Implicit in your comment is the idea that these protesters, by seeking to disrupt the convention, are engaging in protest that is dangerous and must at all costs be stopped. Is there a shred of evidence that true violence is being planned??? NO. Listen, loud chants and music are disruptive, and massive marches usually block traffic. Are you really suggesting that these forms of protest are deserving of preemptive SWAT team raids?? Is this America, or Burma? Or China???

Original article: How did Sarah Palin do?

sarcastic attacks, and a pack of lies.

We need energy independence. Solution? Drill in Alaska. Conservation? Why mention it! Come to think of it, why bother mentioning the war in Iraq at all, except to tell you all that Track is going to be in it?

I have a special needs child, and I have a message for parents of special needs children: Republicans are the champions of special needs children (they'd never dream of gutting every child-centered program in the nation).

"They" want to raise YOUR taxes, including payroll taxes. Has she even read Obama's tax policy?

We will now mock the idea of Change. Yet, WE stand for real Change, not Obama.

This speech, what meager scraps of actual policy could be found in it, could only be persuasive to those who know absolutely nothing about the real economics, policies, and platforms of either candidate. It was a speech aimed at those who are ignorant. It was therefore the epitome of spite, lies, and manipulation. It was absolutely shameful.

I will now go to Obama's website and volunteer one day per week from now until the election to canvas voters in swing states.
