Walter Reed
[Read the article: VA report found Walter Reed problems in 2004]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Why doesn't it surprise me that Walter Reed has had problems that is why the administration wanted to cover it up by closing its doors.
It probably explains why people from New Oleans weren't sent to occupy a nearby closed army base, which would have made sense. It's the credit card mentality -- when it doesn't work don't bother to fix it and have people concerned work on it; just fire everyone and try to build something newer, bigger, brighter for lots more money, that doesn't work either.
Rumsfeld decided to close the doors instead of making things right.
Can someone please let me know where I can pick up one of those count down calendars?? I cannot wait to see an end of this administration.

Poor, Sad Larry Craig
[Read the article: Poor, sad Larry Craig]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I am with you, here is a man who cannot accept human beings for being human -- my problem is the "holier than thou" attitude, -- and I expect we will have some narrow-minded turnips thinking that all gays hang around the johns.
They say people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones; in this case he has been throwing rocks for years so I would say he got what he has dished out all these years of being a "dirty, nasty, bad boy!!" Uck!!! I feel sorry for his family, but for him it's appropriate.

Larry Craig
[Read the article: The return of Larry Craig?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]In response to an early comment -- think of the Children?? -- I think the children are speaking. They are saying Dad don't take this lying down. Afterall how much more humiliation is there behind the glass wall. Let the GOP run for cover -- I don't blame him for standing up for himself -- you have too many people lying down and saying "run over me why don't you" -- I am sure there is great turmoil within the family; but like all "secrets" once they are out in the open they lose their power and ability to paralyze one.
Good for him, make them all sweat -- because they will all sweat!!!!

Harry Reid
[Read the article: Harry Reid works to ensure telecom amnesty, warrantless surveillance]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Harry Reid has been the worst Senate Majority Leader I have ever seen -- if Senator Dodd doesn't get anywhere with this election, he should be majority leader doesn't he have enough seniority???

Bush vs. Congress
[Read the article: Hypocrite much?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Just like the Red Socks -- let's see Congress hit a few good ones. It's the only way to do it with Bush -- treat him the way he was been treating them. He is hell bent on bluffing to get his way. I say Congress should keep this up until next year, stand tall, let the government run out of money (it's not worth much anyway that to GW) -- if that's what it takes do it!!!

Now we are starting to get into it
[Read the article: The most interesting debate yet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama missed only at the beginning when the Moderators tried to put him on the spot. He likes to debate an answer rather than attack with malice. Once Edwards came out with a couple, Obama started to fit the groove -- but you can see the difference, Hillary was actually very partisan before the criticism and I am afraid that it's Bush all over again --- very partisan and very polarizing. Best quote from Obama ... "Part of the reason Republicans are obsessed with you, Hilliary, is it's because it's a fight they are very comfortable having. It's the fight we've been through since the 90's." I think that said it for me -- I am sick of watching it all that other stuff over and over and over and over again.
I want to see Obama go stronger and stand up for what he believes -- Axelrod needs to take the muzzle off -- listen to his gut and his wife and he will do okay.

Seeing Hillary As She Really Is
[Read the article: "Boys against girl," Part II]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I am with Deborah Chassen -- although I haven't been a lifelong Democrat but a Republican who switched in 2006 and I didn't switch to vote for Hillary in the primary or just because she is a woman!! -- As a front runner (although I haven't quite figured out how she got there) she knew what she would step into and it wasn't as rough as a lot of confirmation hearings used to be --- They've been asking the questions all along and she just doesn't answer them -- she is too much like Bush with secrecy and wanting it her way (the Sunday taped 5 shows) and brings too much baggage to the campaign including lobbyists --- While I would like to see a woman president someday in the White House, Hillary is not that woman -- she is too partisan, too polarizing and I have had it with the garbage and dysfunction that we have seen the past nine+ years --
Sick and Tired and when you are sick and tire you change a thought and move a muscle and do the next right thing!! Vote for someone who you hope will bring the change and wisdom to a job that should be respected as it once was.

I thought it was held at Hillary's headquarters
[Read the article: Clinton on the gender card]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And, James Carville giving a critique?? Com'on is this the Clinton New Network. Their technicals were definitely off -- never going to those quick feedbacks --- looked like a practice run.
There were some good answers and both Dodd and Biden spoke their minds which is very refreshing and revealing more of a learning experience than watching puppets -- Richardson puts his foot in his mouth too much -- and they should let them take more time for an answer those 1 minute bullet points are cook for presentations not debates.
"Both Diamonds and Pearls" said it all for Hillary!
