Moment of truth

Well no matter how you slice it, Camille, no matter how you rationalize it, or pro and con it, or invert it or obvert it, or turn it inside out, or turn it on its ear, no matter how you analyze it down to the last twitch, if you don't vote for the first woman who has actually drawn a bead on the White House, then you will have to surrender your feminist card and wear an appropriately sheepish look as you renounce and repudiate all you have said and done to date. It would be a total rout, something like a moose hunt.

Original article: Obama's early stumbles

Monumental mass myth making

Well Camille, some of us knew, and dared to suggest, that Mr. Obama is not a divine avatar, as was widely believed. That peculiar bubble of illusion grew very large, and like all bubbles that must eventually pop, it is popping, slowly and painfully. Business as usual in the White House, business as usual in Congress, and the same old financial manipulators pulling the corset strings until nobody can breath--that is what we see, and the only real difference is that Mr. Obama has already sold himself to the players, some time ago, and will therefore be more amenable than most other presidents. All of this is the effect of wishful thinking and mass hypnosis that rolls downhill faster and faster, getting bigger and bigger, just like an ice-cold, useless snowball. On the other hand, Camille, you did in fact abandon every feminist principle when you chose to support Obama in preference to the first real and viable female candidate who would likely have a shot at the presidency. The same illusion-making process that glorified Obama took place with Palin, only this time in reverse, and the quite decent woman was trashed, horribly. Where are your feminist credentials? Better look in the dumpster, they might still be there. Oh, and don't advance any new feminist theories and arguments for a while because it will be particularly awkward and embarrassing if you do. Face it Camille, you betrayed all your principles for the sake of a candidate who knew full well that he was being falsely hyped, inflated, glorified, and foolishly worshiped as a god. Didn't you notice that worried and unhappy look that often passed over his face in public when he knew that the mass adulation he was receiving was for nothing, and that he could not even prove his natural-born citizenship status? He was often fearful and nervous about these things. Didn't you even notice?

Original article: Obama's hit -- and big miss

Scriptural chess

Before taking any positions on Muslim realities it's very necessary to actually read the Koran and the collections of the Hadith, where you can find many statements and exhortations which trouble mainstream Muslims and which are the basis for terroristic thought. It's perfectly true that most Muslims would like the world to be just and peaceable, as they silently disagree with terrorism, but why do they not vocally disagree? The philosophic balance which must be struck based on Islamic scripture is very delicate indeed, and there are many who do not see any need at all for such nicety. In a large part of the American mind, Barack Obama has two strikes against him -- his interest in Marxism and his Muslim background, which he now publicly admits, but took care to conceal before. Camille, it really is necessary to look deeply into Islamic thought (and no shallow research will do) before you decide whether you agree or disagree with Obama's positions. Frankly, even he doesn't know what is the right course, and almost everyone in the Muslim world is restrained from speaking by one stricture or another, one authority or another. Tread carefully and dig deep before taking a position.

Original article: Obama's healthcare horror

explosion of federal debt

Might be time to get over this presidential infatuation, Camille. The crippling and killing level of debt that Obama has already imposed on the people, and the proposed health care program with its astronomical price tag that will send the debt into unexplored and unsupportable territory, these things would make anyone turn pale who has an understanding of finance. And all of this federal debt is but the prelude to what is intended through the imposition of Socialism on this country. In the past America has largely helped to pay the ruinous debts generated by Socialism in other nations, through financial mechanisms that can't be explained in a paragraph, but who on earth is going to pay the debts of Socialism in America? The great Ponzi-like scheme will finally collapse because there will be no further lender of last resort. The vast debt, and the interest, will be cruelly and uncaringly paid through hyperinflation, and will result in the collapse of the currency. Don't even try to imagine it. Dear Camille, you need to read a good book on the monetary system, the creation of money, and the international machinations that serve those who profit but do not serve the people. It's time.
