Weird, old coot. I thought you meant Bill Clinton. McCain is old though. The oldest, if elected.

Everyone said Reagan would start a war, i.e. the Big One, but instead he ended one without firing a shot, defeating the "evil empire", a term ridiculed at the time by the "sophisticates".

Who knows what effect McCain would have? Islamists not especially rational in their calculations, so all bets off?
