The media is tilted roughly ninety degrees to the right. Imagine how they would have treated a Democratic President who went into brainlock when the country was under attack.

In fact, the opposite is true. Bush's success rating in the Democratic-controlled House reached a half-century low, and he prevailed on only 14 percent of the 76 roll call votes on which he took a clear position.
Democrats backed the majority position of their caucus 91 percent of the time on average on such votes. That marks the highest Democratic unity score in 51 years.
If the Democrats broke a 50-year record on opposing the President's agenda, it won't do to say they gave in to his every demand.
