Trapped in the Age of Opinion

If I were a member of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee, it would be a cold day in hell before I would ever choose another American. American citizens should be proud that their President won the prize, instead, the NPP Committee has been subjected to abuse and second-guessing by the Right, Left, and Center of US media.

Tearing down others that do well is a national sport now in the US, but keep the NPP out of it.

We have finally reached an age where mere accomplishment and talent means nothing. Access to media is everything. People who have done nothing noteworthy with their lives get to sit around all day and criticize those that have, and we think this is the natural order of things.

Congratulations

Congratulations to President Obama on his winning the Nobel Peace Prize, and thank you to the Nobel Peace Prize Committee for succinctly expressing the rest of the world's admiration and hopes for him.
