Ah yes, the wonderfulness of hindsight.

I'm done shooter like so many others

I tried to get you think humanely and you responded with an inane response repeated ad infinitum, so like so many others, consider yourself ignored. -- Retired Military Patriot

While I happily anticipate the group ignore, let me first ask what you think is the humane thing to do. At this moment. Just leave and let whatever happens happen?

That's pretty much what I expected

There are no good options now thanks to you morons. We really need to be discussing what will be the most humane way of dealing with you and your ilk.-- I'm Anonymous, Dammit!

In other words, without the benefit of hindsight you're useless.

re: The Forever War, Obama wants more.

WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Wednesday that he would possibly send troops into Pakistan to hunt down terrorists, an attempt to show strength when his chief rival has described his foreign policy skills as naive.

There will be war forever for at least two reasons
1. Human nature hasn't changed,
2. Democrats can't resist the idea that they are smarter than everyone else, and the world should do what they say.
So of course that means that invading another country is hunky-dory. Heh.

Oh crap.

In Violation of Federal Law, Ohio's 2004 Presidential Election Records Are Destroyed or Missing: http://www.alternet.org/story/58328/

-- Fraud Guy

My interest was piqued when the political affiliations of the Board of Elections people being investigated weren't listed. Sure enough, they are Democrats. I believe Mason was a Kerry delegate to the Dem convention. Heh.

re: Obama Osama

I agree with Kentucky Paul, why is it a bad thing to go into Pakistan after Bin Laden? Isn't that what we should have been doing in the first place? Isn't the correct course of action to pull back our forces to a containment role in Iraq, and redeploy to Afghanistan where we have a chance of making a huge difference? As well as sorties into the mountainous 'tribal zone' to hunt down Al Qaeda and its leaders?-- Ktwdawg

Well who knew Democrats would come out on record as being in favor of illegal invasion of another country that hasn't attacked us? Next stop Iran! Heh.

Pakistan is "hardly" a nation.

Motive Matters -- That's why it is such an important legal principle, Shooter. We have a motive to go into the Tribal Region (hardly what one would consider a 'nation')- an incursion that would have had nearly unanimous global support immediately following 9/11.

You didn't think the possibility of another 9/11 or worse was motivation for Iraq? Of course it was, the only difference here is that your standard is a bit different than Bush's. Here's a story about motivation...

A guy sits down at a bar next to a lovely young lady, and after an introduction asks, if she would sleep with him for a million dollars. Upon consideration, she says "yes."

"How about fifty dollars?", asks the guy. The lovely young lady becomes indignant and retorts," what do you think I am, a whore?!?" To which the guy replies, "we've already established that, now we're just dickering about the price."

Declaring a section of Pakistan "hardly" part of the nation is like saying North Dakota is "hardly" part of the US. Worse, we don't really know if OBL is still alive. Even worse than that is that your lib buddies are with me on this one. Surely it's the "kiss of death". Heh.

re: Dufus

A new low of mindlessness for our shooter
I can't wait to hear how shooter was able to determine the political affiliations of 50+ Directors of County Election Boards in Ohio, or even the political affiliations of the specific people quoted in the article as admitting that the records were destroyed. I'll even make it easy for him.

Tsk. I didn't say all 50 were Dems, there has to be at least one Republican just by chance. But both Vu and Mason certainly are Dems along with....

Please provide evidence that the following people are registered Democrats:
Butler County Board of Election Director Betty McGary
John Williams, Hamilton County Director of Elections
Mike Keeley, of Clermont County's Board of Elections -- Rufus X

Look bud, it took all of one minute to find out the top name was running for Dem office at one time. Do the rest yourself and let us know what the results are. When Republicans are named by party in a hit piece but others are not, it's a very safe bet the liberal media is at work.

By the way, sorry about the name in the subject line. "But I mean it in a good way." -- Dom Irrera

And by the way, IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11. -- Ktwdawg

Neither Afghanistan, nor Pakistan did either, but that doesn't seem to matter to you. So I presume you'll go on record as advocating invading anyone we feel like?

I knew you'd see the light.

Actually, they did. That was al Qaeda's base of ops, see that's why we invaded Afghanistan first, and why no one had a strong objection to it at the time.

Sorry sport, but Al Qaeda was not the national governing body.

By this reasoning since Lebanon was harboring Hezbollah, Israel had every right to invade Lebanon and occupy it until Hezbollah was captured. But I'm pretty sure that wasn't on the liberal approved military action list.

Come to think of it, you have the same rationale as Israel did in occupying Gaza and the West Bank. We'll sign you up as a supporter.
