I understand that you weren't prepared for it, but I was actually agreeing with you about LWM. We defined RWA as applying to left wingers a while ago and he fits the bill perfectly. Arne on the other hand is just a dick.
The bad news is, the person agreeing with you is the senior Republican Troll. The good news is this comment by Glenn from the last election that confirms your ideas regarding electability against political dogma....
Previous Comment --There are two battles being fought at the moment, one between Republicans and Democrats for power. The other is being fought between the grass roots and the Beltway over which matters more, votes or campaign contributions.
Glenn --Exactly. There is and always has been (at least since as long as I've been watching) a two-pronged war being waged by the blogosphere and related forces -- (1) against the Bush movement and (2) against the principle-free, soul-less status-quo-perpetuators who run the Democratic Party.
Prong (2) was subordinated to prong (1) over the last few months out of necessity -- bringing some balance to the government and imposing some limits on the administration was a crisis priority with which nothing else competed in importance. But now that that's done, prong (2) will re-emerge strongly again, as it should -- otherwise, victory with prong (1) is impossible in any real sense.

I think you'd get more traction on this theme if you offered something less than bombing, and more than capitulation as demonstrated by the British.
A policy of passivity assumes that Iran is amenable to diplomacy, and that if it succeeds in building a nuke, won't use it. Tossing out the IAEA and snubbing EU entreaties rules out the first. The wanton destruction of it's own people as seen in the war with Iraq is indicative of willingness to inflict death and destruction on enemies.
Ahmadinejhad has directly threatened Israel repeatedly. Is there some substantive reason you don't believe him, and are you willing to bet an entire nation's lives on you guessing correctly?
Let me state it in a Southern kind of way:
You and your buddies bust into somebody's house and crash their
party for no good reason and start bullying people around.
LOL. No good reason? These people were just minding their own business? Let's see what public statements these people had to say about our ally Israel. Are you denying, discounting, or just deaf to these threats of genocide, and extinction of a nation? Do you believe Iran is an innocent and has nothing to do with armed conflicts in the Middle East? That's delusional.
