Original article: Mitt Romney's biggest brand

Mitt and the Olympics

My B&B business in S.E. Idaho was negatively impacted by Mitt and his people who took over the marketing and management of the 2002 winter olympics in northern Utah. In true mormon fashion, they would not accept advertisement, would not inform visitors, athletes, their families, etc. of any attractions outside of Utah. Our inn is located in the village of Lava Hot Springs, ID (within 120 miles of all venues) and is blessed with natural warm-hot mineral water springs and pools, and was initially permitted a link to the olympic website, but, when Mitt took over, we were denied any visibility or contact with the olympic visitor. His management favored and benefited the Mormon community and did not consider the potential desire of visitors who may have wanted to enjoy our natural mineral water pools.

Original article: Pelosi: It's about the war

Pelosi and Impeachment of Bush/Cheney

Pelosi is not doing her job! Her job is to protect the citizenry against the incompetence and criminal behavior of Bush/Cheney. Shame on her for stating her removal of the impeachment check on the executive branch. Impeachment is the only means for our rescue from civil servants who are disregarding their oaths of office. These people are our employees...would you allow an employee to break the law, lie and kill? She should be replaced as speaker for not performing her duties in office. Get someone in there with the gonads to do what is right.

Senator Joe and his fellow fascists.

How can the people of Conneticut tolerate the totalitarian inclinations and votes of 'Senator' Joe? He is nothing more than a fascist doing the bidding of right wing Israelis and their lobbies. What a disgrace he is to the people of the state that elected him and to the Constitution he has sworn to protect.

Original article: Divine politics

Divine Exemption

And on the first day god created the income tax and it was good. And on the second day god created congress and it exempted the church from taxation and it was good. And on the third day the churches became rich and politically powerful and elected Bush and it was bad! And on the fourth day America went down in flames.

Bollinger Botches It

After hearing the introduction given by Lee Bollinger I was left with an uneasy disgust for the man. This was a demonstration of the height of inappropriateness and rudeness. How awful to attack a guest speaker during an introduction. How inhospitable and crude can one get? Columbia, a university with a tradition of fairness and openness, should be looking for another president. This man has dishonored his position, himself and his school.

Crushing on Hillary to Crush the Dummycrats

The dummycrat party is once again allowing the republicrooks to lead them to slaughter in their proping up of Hillary. They would like nothing more than to have the dummycrats nominate Hillary which would bring their party together like no other candidate. It is the only way for them to win as it will be easy to dredge up all of her stinking baggage from the past. She will receive a withering attack which will make all other campaigns look like child's play. Hillary is the most hated dummycrat among republicrooks and independents and so, naturally, the dummycrats will nominate the loveable and well-connected Hillary who has never held a real job beyond politics. It makes me sick to the point that I have stopped giving to either party with the hope that Gore, Paul, Hagel or some other person having integrity and substance will gain public support outside either either of the identical party machines.

Original article: How Hillary could tank

Hillary is already in the status quo tank.

Hillary is the Republicrook's best friend. She is the candidate most likely to succeed in keeping them in power. They love to mention her at every debate, speech, meeting, etc. in order to keep her name in the spotlite. They rejoice in the chance to dredge up the muck of her past e.g. Vince Foster, white house staff firings, Whitewater, socialized medicine, standing by her Bill, and on and on. They will be able to bring a Rovian withering attack which will rouse all true Republicrooks and will bring them to the polls to prevent the hated Hillary from becoming president. She is too close to the beltway core and AIPAC to withstand the part-of-the-problem argument which will hammer her into defeat. She is too much like them!

Original article: The Iran hawks

Hawks for Bucks

Ask yourself 'who do I know that has personally contributed to the Giuliani and Clinton campaigns'? Where are they getting their money? Who benefits from their reckless stance on Iran? It certainly is not the American voter, soldier and taxpayer. We have a long history of peaceful diplomatic interaction with the people of Iran with the exceptions of the CIA installation of the Shah and the hostage crisis, both of which were ultimately settled by internal politics and diplomacy.

If we as a nation wish to be consistent about nuclear arms and proliferations we must include Israel, India, Pakistan, and others who have entered the nuclear arms club with our tacit and, in some cases active participation.

Giuliani and Hillary do not give a damn about the poor folk military members who will die in an invasion of Iran. They do not care about you and me and our offspring when it comes to paying for the wishes of those who wag them.

Hillary Hell

Polls and their results can be misleading and the statistics can be cherry picked to create the spin a campaign wants. Hillary is the WORST candidate the democrats could put forth because of low opinions of her in the South, with progressives and with independents. There are also many antiwar democrats who will either support a strong Republican candidate (e.g. Ron Paul) or will simply stay home on election day. The party machine, AIPAC and big business appear to be willing to support Bill's wife in the hope that the similarity between Hillary and most of the Republican candidates is nil. Are we willing to permit a continuation of the policies of the Bush administration? I hope not!
