I've always believed the selection of Gerry Ferraro as Mondale's running mate ...

was the political version of a Hail Mary pass. Mondale knew he had no chance of beating Reagan no matter who he chose as his running mate, so he used the election as a way to -- suck up to? flatter? female voters.

Palin is McCain's version of Dan Quayle.

Did SHE Think She Was Qualified?

Does Sarah Palin truly believe that she is qualified to perhaps serve as President of the United States? Should she not have evaluated her own resume and withdrawn herself from contention?
