Zionist ideological racial oppression

To understand Israel/Palestine as defined systematically by racial oppression has yet to be elaborated on its own. This is odd, given that the racial oppression of the Palestinian people is at the heart of the matter; all other things-land laws, religion, pass laws, racially designated roads and neighborhoods, etc.-are symptoms. This should not come as any surprise: the racial definition of the Zionist project existed from the very beginning. Theodor Herzel in his 1896 pamphlet "The Jewish State" wrote it would "form a part of a wall of defense for Europe in Asia, an outpost of civilization against barbarism." This is the same Herzel who stated that Zionist colonization would be "representatives of Western civilization," bringing "cleanliness, order and the well-established customs of the Occident to this plague-ridden, blighted corner of the Orient." Recall Chomsky memorably quoting Chaim Weizmann, first president of Israel, as saying of Palestine, "there are several hundred thousand negroes there but that this matter has no significance."

@Jebbie

The bozo from Tel Aviv is a cut&paste white supremacist artist, a typical Jewish Nazi, therefore he will either not reply to your questions on why Rabin was assassinated or he will cut&paste one of the Likud supplied templates about how Rabin's assassination was actually a left wing ploy planned by an agent provocateur and executed by a misguided lunatic.

Homa and the Warsaw ghetto as Israel's models

In 1982 the Syrian government killed 30,000 – 40,000 of its own citizens. Assad leveled the entire entire city of Hama with an air bombardment followed by artillery and tank fire. Why? They were anti Baath party, and apparently in 1982 in Syria that was a death sentence. The Syrian stagey in Hama and the German strategy in leveling the Warsaw ghetto in response to the heroic Jewish uprising are the models the Israelis have based their genocidal attack on the Gaza population on. The Tel Aviv bozo is the "Good german" who justified the Nazi genocide as self defense against Germany's mortal enemies.

And I, you know, think

that soldiers should be abolished from the battlefield and replaced with Republican morons who couldn't get certified as plumbers.

Personal experience

that taught me how the average Israeli Jew perceives the Arabs. Many years ago I had volunteered to serve in the IDF. I made a friend in boot camp, a sabra from the Tel Aviv area. He had graciously invited me to spend a weekend furlough at his parents house. Since I came to Israel from California, I had no family to go to on breaks from military service. When we entered his house, his mother was listening to the radio attentively, a serious expression on her face. Since I hardly spoke Hebrew at the time, I asked her in English what she was listening to. She answered that there had been a terrible highway accident in which a taxi from the Gaza strip, transporting day workers back to Gaza, collided with an Israeli bus. Luckily, she said, no Jews were killed, only 5 Arabs, "so now we can all enjoy the weekend". She, by the way, was college educated and a Labor voter. Over time, I got to listen to Israeli right wingers, typical Likud voters and to their views of Arabs and their ideas regarding what to do with them and to them. Compared to them, she was a very compassionate woman.

Genocidal orgy

Israel has been sharply criticized for its disproportionate use of force in Gaza. But there are some Israeli fanatics who believe that Israel should use even greater force-widespread lethal force. The Jerusalem Post reports on that Sephardi chief rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu has written a letter to Prime Minsiter Ehud Olmert informing him that "all civilians living in Gaza are collectively guilty for Kassam attacks on Sderot....Eliyahu ruled that there was absolutely no moral prohibition against the indiscriminate killing of civilians during a potential massive military offensive on Gaza aimed at stopping the rocket launchings."

"No moral prohibition against the indiscriminate killing of civilians"

Isn't this the definition of terrorism?

One Israeli settler leader recently argued during a conversation with a visiting American peace activist that 'if it was right to commit genocide during Biblical time, why can’t it be right to commit genocide now. Has God changed his mind,' the settler wondered sarcastically."

An Israeli moral and strategic defeat

Apart from the slaughter of 900 Palestinians and the vast destruction from 14 days of aerial bombardment, the Israeli invasion of Gaza has failed to achieve any of its strategic objectives. The Palestinian resistance is still intact, the rocket-fire has continued, and Hamas is stronger than ever. So, what has been gained? Hamas has withstood the ferocious Israeli assault without knuckling under or making any concessions. They've proved that they are the legitimate representatives of the Palestinian people and the standard bearers of the national liberation movement. Their place at the head of the government is now assured thanks to Israel's criminal blunder. In contrast, Mahmoud Abbas and the PA have ended up looking like cowards and quislings kowtowing to Tel Aviv.

For Israel, the military campaign has been a public relations disaster. Photos on the internet of bloodied and dismembered children rushed off to make-shift hospitals or wrapped in their funereal shrouds has generated unprecedented sympathy for the plight of Palestinians. Israel has come across as a bully. The establishment press has also suffered yet another blow to its credibility. This could be a tipping point for the corporate media. Arab news channels have come of age while more and more westerners are turning to independent media for their news.
