KArl Rove, again
[Read the article: Karl Rove, again]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]He should now be fired.
He has done something wrong in direct violation of the Presidential records act.

Comey's testamony
[Read the article: What will be done about James Comey's revelations?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What if, taking your information further, the the wiretapping were being done, say on Candidates for presidency?
The timing of this is about a year before the election and we know now that the DOJ was getting rid of any attorney that was not cracking done on supposed Democratic voter fraud.
This appears to be all about "election" and has Rove's paw prints all over this.

Bathe time!
[Read the article: American war culture in a nutshell]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This is the type of gene pool that needs a good cleansing with Clorox.
I have seen Mr. Kagen on tv, he seems rationale enough but the more he speaks the worse it gets.
Do they have any children that are service age?
They, of course would not serve, because they are needed for the neocon movement.
These people really do believe that there are 2 classes of people, us and them

Winning the war in Iraq?
[Read the article: A nation of Rich Lowrys]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Oh, but we are winning!!!
Imagine my surprise when I read an AP article yesterday that the Prime Minister of Britain is reducing their troops by 2008 because"his Iraq plan follows the success of the US troop increase this summer...".
I was appalled that the lies we Americans were told about the Iraq war recently are now being accepted as fact by the rest of the world.
I am old enough to have lived through the Nixon era and saw what this crook did to our country.
The blatant lies started with that administration. At that time we had a press willing to go the extra mile to find out the truth and was not afraid to print it, threats from the administration be damned.
However, there are many of those same men in that administration who learned that you can get away with anything because that administration was not held accountable for their actions.
We are now reaping the results of 30 years ago.
Why shouldn't they do, say anything they want? Who will hold them accountable? The Press? We have no press that is willing to tell us the truth, except for a few stalwarts that buck the system. Every day, lies are told and NO ONE questions it or stops it
The Republicans have built a fantasy about GW Bush since day one when the term Compassionate Conservative was manufactured, and a majority of people bought it.

obstruction of the 9/11 comission
[Read the article: 9/11 Commission: Our investigation was "obstructed"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I never thought that I would be saying "conspiracy", but the more I think about 9/11 the more confused I get.
What I do think about is that the Patriot Act was conceived and written AND ACCEPTED by Congress on Oct 24, 2001, 43 days after 9/11.
Just look at that document and ask if you truly believe that this document was JUST written in response to 9/11?
It is incredible to me that the scope and depth of this act could be thought of and written in such a short amount of time.
I think this administration did nothing to prevent 9/11 because it fit into the administrations plans to do what it wanted.Look at all the other liberties and freedoms that were taken away from us in the name of "security".
They never wanted this Commission and I'm sure more obstruction will be found.

Investigate Further?
[Read the article: CNN/MSNBC reporter: Corporate executives forced pro-Bush, pro-war narrative]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Sirs:
It is old news that the American people were lied to about the reasons for the glorious war in Iraq.
We know that the MSM did not do its job in ferreting out the truth about those reasons.
I think the story now becomes, did these executives receive anything in exchange for their complicity with the White House?
We think we know the devious nature of this administration, but perhaps there is more to this story. We have learned about what went on in the Attorney General's office, Plamegate and the other
Republican misconduct and scandles.
I would like to be sure that the executives of all the leading networks, especially those Republican cheerleaders, Fox News, did not in turn, receive considerations for their "fixing of the news" that allowed the American people to start a war and elect for a second term an incompetent President.

Palin and the debates
[Read the article: Correction on Sarah Palin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I find Sarah Palin smart, and scary as hell.
She has enough smarts to sound good, but not enough smarts to really know anything beyond surface info or how it will profit her. She is on a mission from God and God will take care of her and HERS alone. DAMN the rest of us. And I mean that. I don't think she gives a hoot about anybody else that does not buy into her mission and goals in life.
It was something that I heard said by Keith Oberman on Dave Letterman last night that made me sit up and take notice.
IF McCain refuses to debate because of this financial crisis, there would almost have to be a make up Preisdential debate.
We as a country can't have just 2 debates, because we need to have a winner, not a tie.
Because of timing and scheduling, that would almost preclude having a VP debate, there would not be enough time before the election.
His "Palin crisis solved".
My take;
McCain could possibly get by with his base and come out a hero of the financial crisis and God knows what else the WhiteHouse can throw there way.
We are not even talking about the fact the the Iraq timetable for bringing soldiers home has been changed to fit more in line with Bush. Remember when Obama's plan was the plan of the day?
Also, how are the McCain ads in your area?
Ares are sinister, how he will raise taxes that we can't afford.
This was on right after Bush's scare speech about 7 billion dollars. I hope people are smart. SIGH!!!!!
