"Why ask useless questions? How deep is the ocean? How high is the sky? Who is John Galt?"
All questions that any rational person could see the value of answering. In fact, you would think that anyone paying any attention to science in the 50 would certainly have had some interest in two of those topics, given the progress in sea and space exploration.
Of course, if you were busy navel gazing and building a cult of personality I suppose you might not have noticed - L.Ron Hubbard probably didn't think stuff like that was important either.
I think it's about time that we all agreed that anyone who has ever had sex should not be allowed to have children. "Or is it just another part of a woman’s body, designed, among other things, as a feeding device for young mammals?"
Designed? Really? Designed? While I certainly see your point about breasts in general, I think I will go with evolved. Though I think that evolution has probably had a role in the sexualization of this particular body part as well.
I know many people that were upset when Apple switched from their custom Garamond variant to Adobe Myriad in around 2002.
