  • Make the DLC proud....Vote for HRC!

Because, as we all know, if you keep on trying the same thing that never works, it just might work!

And if Obama gets too many delegates, don't worry, I'm sure Terry McAuliffe will strongarm our superdelegates into voting the DLC way. Remember, K Street is watching you!

Who knows, with any luck maybe we can get Bob Shrum to take over as her campaign manager.

California will be the state to watch. Obama is surging like mad here. Zogby has him ahead already. If the enthusiam continues I forsee a possible huge win here, perhaps as high as ten points. Romney may actually have a shot here as well, although it's probably too little too late.

I'll be absolutely fascinated by the demographic breakdowns after the fact in CA, and I hope Salon takes a look at what will have happened the day after.

  • Slick Obama

I'm on to this crook. He's a Radical Extremist Right-Wing Manchurian Candidate. He'll be a thousand times worse than GWB, an Uber-Neocon the likes of which we've never seen. Not only will he start WW3, but he'll drop the tax rate on the rich to zero percent, and give away what's left of our country to the transnational corporations. His nomination will spell the end of our great Republic. Lady Liberty weeps tonight.

    THIS MAN MUST BE STOPPED!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Will K Street and the DLC win the day?

..or will Obama stop the coronation?

    I'm guardedly optomistic.

A man is a man no matter what his skin color is, a woman is the only thing that will bring real compassion and change!

Vote for Ann Coulter! Vajayjay Power!!

PS. All caps is soooo 1994.

We'll see tomorrow when the paper ballots (Thank God!) are counted here.

At the very least Obama will block the Coronation and we'll have another month for Dems to come to their senses.

    I vote my gender

You are absolutely disgusting. By your rationale then, Ann Coulter would make a better President than John Edwards.

The schadenfreudenny side of me wants Hillary to get the nomination and lose horribly in November and watch as we lose the Supreme Court for 30 years as well as lose the right to choose. But then, I'm not that much of a sadist. The best I can hope for is that genuine, bona-fide idiots like yourself are at least blocked until the next primary when hopefully a few more primary voters will come to their senses.

BTW, did I mention what an idiot you are? Because you truly are an idiot.

Obama is a star and a great orator but then again so was Hitler.

Wow, I've seen it all now. Prior to now I thought all of the Batshit Crazies were in the GOP. Seems we have a few in our own party as well!

Really insightful post. Not necessarily pretty to contemplate, but very insightful nontheless.

Although, I'm guardedly optimistic about CA. If we get enough young people...of ALL colors and creeds...we can keep hope alive for another day.

  • Re: Will the votes get counted fairly?

Two things worry me about (1) Are the votes already submitted

    going to be verified?

    (2) How many Diebold machines are going to be used today?

I have a feeling that the votes already submitted are going to

favor the Clinton machine whether they were actually cast that

way or not. And as we've seen in NH, districts using Diebold

machines have a mysterious way of favoring the "in crowd".

Just wanted to say in our great state of California our wonderful Sec of State has DECERTIFIED all touch screen voting systems. I just voted for Obama today on a paper ballot and I can't tell you how great it felt to know my vote WILL be counted!

No shenanigans in the great state of California!!!

Well, ad hominums are probably the worst way to win an argument, and for that I apologize.

You clearly are not an idiot. But mark my words, a vote for Clinton is a vote for McCain in November. A McCain win means the end of Roe v. Wade. Just something to consider.

Florida and Michigan broke the rules set up by the Party. To make this a civil rights issue is misleading, manipulative and obnoxious.

Already Clinton proxies have sued Dean and the Democratic Party to have them sat. The judge just ruled against them.

Not too smart to sue Dean and your own party. Besides, the DNC is going to sort it out. The have several months.

But if whining and suing is the way to get delegates than maybe my state can move it's Primaries to December 2011. Or December 2009. Anything goes!

  • A Few Points...

Pundits who worry about what influence pundits have on the public are like sportscasters worrying about what influence they have on sport.

There is no there there. I agree with the above posters who say that it is more likely that better name recognition among voters who don't really know much about Barack Obama prevented him from scoring a decisive win on Super Tuesday. Occam's Razor definately applies.

He is not Jesus but neither is he a Manchurian Candidate from the deepest pits of Hell. The Obnoxious Obamaites and the Hysterical Hillaryites need to both settle down.

I recommend both to Obama supporters and Hillary supporters to check out his 64 page position booklet at http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/ObamaBlueprintForChange.pdf .

The former so they can arm themselves against accusations of mindless groupie slobbering and the latter so they can take his ideas into consideration instead of just getting completely mortified and apoplectic over his appeal.
