Mr. Greenwald,
When I was much younger I had the pleasure of working in a skilled trade -- newspaper printer. During those 11 years of my life I set into type daily the words of William F. Buckley Jr., Jack Anderson, James Reston, Jim Bishop, Art Buchwald and many more. My direct exposure to those words helped mold me into the type of person I believe I am today and also defined my political leanings.
Not since I left the newspaper business, in 1982, have I found a columnist that I faithfully read each day like you. Your column needs more exposure.

There are many more newspapers in Missouri that should get this article about Senator Bond. Send it to them.
Glenn, you're rapidly becoming a national treasure!
Glenn,
In the beginning when the Bush Administration was framing their plan to fight terrorism GWB announced: "If you're not with us, you're against us." That same question should be asked Joe Klein, Rick Stengel, Brian Williams, Tim Russert and the rest of the Village. As you've so ably written, some in the 4th Estate reported the news correctly during the run-up to this catastrophe we find ourselves in, but because the major media outlets have not, it is directly proportionate to the ignorance of the public. Many West Virginia voters believed "Obama is a Muslim" is just one example.
I look forward to reading your posts every day. Keep up the great work, you "national treasure" you.
This morning I thought I'd have some fun and called Steney's Waldorf office and his one in D.C. I told the staffers that I'd read Glenn Greenwald's columns from yesterday and asked if they had. I told them both how concerned I was for the 4th Amendment and they both assured me that Mr. Hoyer was against granting immunity.
I then told them my name, and that I was the general manager of the largest auto dealership in Hoyer's district (I was lying) and that I would, if a new FISA bill with immunity was passed, run weekend promotions called "WIRETAPPING AWARENESS SALES". I told the staffers I would run my promotions selling Chevrolet cars and trucks and educating my customers about the FISA debate every weekend until Hoyer was thrown out of office in November.
Man it was fun.
I don't give two hoots about Karl Rove and I care even less what his thoughts are about the presidential race. His opinion should not matter to anyone.
I don't ask for much, I only want trust and you know it don't come easy.
You'd be the next recipient for the Medal of Freedom. Great work today, Glenn.
Glenn,
I was very disappointed with the fruits of the last Money Bomb campaign but I'm in for another, targeted at Stenny Hoyer. Any plans for another stab at it?
The most obscene message to come out of Joe Scarborough's mouth in recent years has been his steady defense of torturing enemy combatants. Nothing or no one on television pissed me off more than hearing that Pensacola Pimp trying to explain how defying the Geneva Convention and our Constitution was worth it in protecting "the American people." What a complete idiot. I'll send him some Cheetos.
Glenn,
Each time I read one of your columns it makes me intensely happy that your voice is heard. You're a leader in every sense of the word.
Watching Chris Matthews last night was almost as sickening as Armey. Why on earth would Matthews ask any question regarding government policy to Armey? He should be asking "Dick, to you understand why the majority of Americans want to see you and your ilk in prison?"
Maybe NBC should be advised to hire a Constitution Analyst to compliment their Political Director and give them both equal time on the airwaves. I commend Chuck Todd for participating today, but have to condemn him for placing so much importance on political realities.
I recently used the Thesaurus at dictionary dot com to find another word to replace leadership in a letter I was composing and lo and behold it said, GLENN GREENWALD.
Reading this post has been.
When the pitchforks come out, if they ever do, one group of people I wish would feel the wrath of the American people more than most are the network executives. Those who for the past two decades have insisted that Britney Spears and what she did is newsworthy and what Christopher Cox did not do as the SEC Commissioner was not newsworthy. I telephoned NBC Universal and CNN today about this bazaar coverage of the "balloon boy." What a xxxxxxx joke.
I was dismayed to get through on the White House Comment Line with very little wait time -- 30 seconds -- but gratified to explain why I had Voters' Remorse with Barack Obama.
