[Read the article: John Yoo's war crimes]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Love Rachel Maddow and never miss tuning in for the drive-home. She is brilliant and funny.
I am delighted to see that Dr. Maddow's star is rising, its well-deserved.
Almost makes me wish for a longer commute, almost...

[Read the article: John Yoo's war crimes]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]-Yoo,Cheney,Gonz, and Addington..tried to create a whole new English language in "enemy combatants"," war on terror"...and many other redundant Sraussian mumbo-jumboisms..I think if you disect the language--the American public will see.-
A time-tested practise, it seems. This article comments on just that.
I think another poster here directed me to this enlightening link.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]-Your notions of what constitutes "left-wing" merely translates into: "not a neocon or neocon-friendly, warmongering, Executive-cum-monarch-endorsing, authoritarian."-

[Read the article: Why doesn't the 9/11 Commission know about Mukasey's 9/11 story?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I cannot copy that link. It's partly buried under the adjacent ad. Can you please re-post wrapped or tiny-ed?
Thx.

[Read the article: Why doesn't the 9/11 Commission know about Mukasey's 9/11 story?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]-At first blush, I wasn’t surprised that Mukaskey would just “make stuff up” to further the political goals of this administration. That happens all the time. But Hamilton’s refusal to deal with this story at all suggests that the 9/11 Commission is hiding something very important to protect the Bush administration – and themselves. Wow.-
I suspect that you, like I, find the 'wow' factor here to be more related the fact that this has seen the light of day rather than the actual revelation itself, since it has been evident for some time that the 9-11 Commission was a bullshit cover-up like anything else that Bushco got their thorny claws on. Especially in light of the involvement of GOP skanks like Philip Zelikow in this 'bipartisan' abomination.
Glenn, thanks for all your fine work bringing these slippery lies to the forefront. Congrats on the new book. I am eagerly looking forward to it as a #1 summer read.
BTW: Not sure how you find the time to eat and sleep. I can barely keep up with your posts and all the letters.

[Read the article: Why doesn't the 9/11 Commission know about Mukasey's 9/11 story?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]-I won't speculate on Hamilton's motive to refuse comment here but it amounts to something tres strange.-
I will so you don't have to. He hasn't had time to cook up an appropriate whopper?

Those that promoted Mukasey as a reasonable nominee
[Read the article: The Associated Press fails to reveal Mukasey's favorite color]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Mukasey was a staffer on the Giuliani campaign at the time of his nomination, working alongside such RW extremists as Norman Podoretz.
With that in mind, I find it more than a little confusing that Scott Horton, of all people, could ever have been convinced that Mukasey *might* be a reasonable choice for Attorney General.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]-Is there one that we could all jointly pester *nicely* of course, to pursue this story-
Perhaps not quite the type of journalist you had in mind but I am sure Dan Froomkin would be happy to cover this in White House watch tomorrow.
What can it hurt?
