[Read the article: McConnell/Mukasey: Eavesdropping outside of FISA is "illegal"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]-Isn't that what happened on 9/11 Commission?-
Well....perhaps.
Some would suggest there might be something more nefarious than just the expected incompetency, though incompetence would certainly play a roll in anything involving BushWorld.
Recent revelations have shone a light on the 9/11 commission process that LWMs have been claiming for years was corrupt from the top down and a cover-up. Now it seems the facts suggest that there could be more than a little something to that theory.
Former 9/11 Commission Chief Philip Zelikow was undoubtedly a good Bushie.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]-Almost no one ever talks about the 2001 Anthrax attacks anymore.-
I do, but not necessarily in mixed company.
An attempted domestic right-wing hit is how I have always viewed it and, yes, I think of it often. The only two (ranking) Dem Senators who were hold-outs as signatories to the original Patriot Act, Leahy and Daschle, who was Senate Majority leader at that time. US military grade or virtually identical which is statistically impossible.
Wouldn't be the first time. Probably won't be the last.
Another target was the media which would certainly win some co-operation....
The investigation is said to be ongoing as noted in the link.
Unlike the uncanny ability of the US intel community to name names days after 9/11, they are magically clueless 6 1/2 years after what they call Amerithrax.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]-Not an attempted hit, there were warning messages with the anthrax, that's why the recipients survived.
If it was an attempted hit there would have been no warning messages.-
Point taken. That would be more accurate.
Senator Leahy and Senator Daschle would have been been far less likely to capitulate to signing on to the bill while dead.
However, it should be noted that the Daschle letter was opened by an aide which, one could surmise, reaches pretty deep into Daschle's organization and could well have directly threatened the Senator's personal safety.
The Leahy letter was apparently mis-directed so, its uncertain whether its uncertain where that might have led.
The FBI once theorized that the second wave of attacks aimed at the two Senators was weaponized and later backed off from that assertion but maintain that it was a more potent strain than that which was directed at several of the top media organizations, causing 5 deaths and 17 infections. It seems that 'collateral damage' would have been viewed by the perps as just as acceptable an outcome as 'sending a message'.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]-However, the USA has so many problems and evils that one can not be an activist on every issue every day and still live a life.-
True. People can only be spread so thin.
'So many problems and evils' and each with its own subset and the sub-sub-sets and...
You can give your all to only one specific concern and its not enough.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]-Are their no more missing white girls in Aruba or runaway brides to transfix the nation?-
I think FOX 'News' may be suggesting an extraterrestrial aspect to all those stories.
The Star Trek schtick seems to suggest the possibility that they may all have been beamed up. Faux may be onto a much bigger story...

[Read more letters about this article: Here]-Nader is back, which to me is a welcome development.-
I agree with your overall comments.
WaPo: Nader vociferously disputes the spoiler claim, saying only Democrats are to blame for losing the race to George W. Bush. He said Sunday there could be no chance of him tipping the election to Republicans because the electorate will not vote for a "pro-war John McCain."
"If the Democrats can't landslide the Republicans this year, they ought to just wrap up, close down, emerge in a different form," Nader said.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]-Personally I am surprised that msnbc has printed this article about their darling Obama at all since they have spent most all of the primary season in misogynist sexist attacks against Hillary.-
Hill was their darling once, just as Obama now is.
McCain is also their darling. There are two fronts the media sides with.
a) Obama v Clinton. Advantage Obama
b) Obama/Clinton v McCain/miracle. Advantage McCain
GE's little old media wing will always side with the fascists.
