American Buddha

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I read Dreams of my Father a year ago and there was no question in my mind that here was a pure soul. How could anyone miss it? Here was a super intelligent, aware, sensitive, selfless being offering himself up to be sacrificed on the altar of humanity. The Buddha left his castle and security to seek the truth and teach it to a confused and faltering humanity. Obama left the security of obscurity to find himself and the truth of his being and to offer it to a world on the brink of destruction. God knows we need a miracle for anyone with half a brain can see the end is in sight. If anything will get us out of our mess it will take more than experience; a new consciousness is needed, a pure being that we all relate to as part of ourselves, that brings us all together as One Mind working together to save each other and the beautiful living organism we call our planet. Blessings to Obama, let us all pull together and help this man as he works to rectify the ego driven greed and confusion of the Bush administration. And let's not forget his smart and sassy woman who'll sit next to him in the Oval Office and who'll run him as he runs the country. This is our last chance and we sure better take it...

Strong Hand McCain he likes to think of himself, and now he awaits the opportunity to act on all that pent up anger and rage he's been holding in since Vietnam. He has no business being President; he's unstable mentally and in poor health physically. And when he pops off then what? Then the Israeli Lobby will take over completely if his Vice is what-his-name. Heaven forbid! They're getting ready for www.lifeaftertheoilocrash.com and the continuous wars that will be fought until the end of time if we don't have a macro jump in consciousness very soon. Have we not learned anything in the last 8 years? Wake up America! A nice retirement home is where he belongs, it time to let the young bloods take over..

Fornicating over the edge of the world

I am reminded of ants; how we humans are like ants, programed for feeding and fornicating, working as robots for a specified number of days, fitting into a mechanized existence that has been engineered to function smoothly with few exceptions, and then dying off to be replaced by another duplicate. We seem to be fornicating near the edge of the world without a thought of going over and yet we keep banging away, even the old, dried up ants. All the problems of the world start between the legs. Think about it ladies and gentlemen, follow all of your problems back to their logical beginnings. It's all fun and tasty but like any meal we gorge on there is always a price to pay...

The Dying of the Light

The finer grade of matter built into our beings, the more brilliantly will shine forth our indwelling light; the light of intuition and intelligence, the light that comes forth from deep thought, from knowledge, wisdom and understanding. One recent spiritual revival that has not been mentioned was the bursting forth of a new consciousness, of new light,during the 60s, the Age of Aquarius some people called it,the psychedelic revolution others named it, and still others blame that period in our history for all the problems we face today, those changes in our psyches that made secular humanists or Buddhists or hippies of our children. And so right they might be, but right in the sense that those agents of change, those entheogins--God or spirit manifesting--were and are deconditioners and deconstructors of hierarchical relationships, catalysts of consciousness that humanity has waited for, and we are still surfing the wave that started back then, and all those people that had those experiences and rearranged their DNA and had mutated children, they are a different animal with a brighter light and higher grade of intelligence, and that light shines forth onto newer generations and that is the light that will save us if it isn't already too late. Look around you America and see who has the light, look at our leaders, our lawmakers, and those candidates that stand on the podium; look closely at them and ask yourself: WHO HAS THE LIGHT? Then vote for the light...
