  • Obama is imploding

[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Every time he speaks now, he looks petulant and, yes, bitter. Gone is his shiny hope message. It's all about rage now. He knows how badly his SanFran comments have damaged him but he doesn't know what to do to recover. So he's lashing out. It's sad. And he looks ridiculous on that tractor, too. He is done. Bye bye, Obama.

  • Mishkin, you need to read up on your Freudian theory

[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You don't seem to understand key concepts. You might want to avoid the section on anal-erotic necrophilia, though, because it might cut too close to home.

    Obama is done.

  • Most of the Obamatrons posting clearly haven't even read the article

[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

They just want positive Obama propaganda or nothing on this and every site.

  • Gee, Mishkin, you can actually quote Freud and still not understand him.

[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

That is a rare gift. But par for the course for an Obamabot. Still, I'm very glad I forced you to make an effort at research. Maybe someday you'll get it. Sad little creature.

  • These Obamabots sure are touchy little totalitarians

[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The smallest criticism sends them flying into a towering rage. Then they denounce and even threaten the author and the website who would dare to publish such calumnies. They don't even bother to read the offending article--they rage away based on the headline, or they do a google search on the author and denounce him, or they mutter darkly about imminent boycotts or future reprisals if one doesn't get on the bandwagon right away. They want total subservience, devotion, and unquestioning propaganda praising their glorious candidate. It reeks of Bushism, frankly.

  • Obama ought to p[ay Rufus, or maybe Clinton should

[Read the article: The rubes and the elites]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

He is the stupidest clown online today!

  • Gee, explain how it is that such an untrustworthy candidate

[Read the article: Poll trajectory points to trouble for Clinton campaign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

will probably beat the shining demigod Obama in PA, IND, and KY, perhaps by double digits? Shouldn't he have put her away by now? What exactly is WRONG with his candidacy, hm?

  • Stewsburntmonkey, polls are NOT the "real world"

[Read the article: Poll trajectory points to trouble for Clinton campaign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Didn't New Hampshire or Super Tuesday teach you anything? In the real world, your candidate can't seem to get over the hump with core Dem constituencies. It's sad, but that's the real world.

  • More like "sewer of consciousness rant" in your case

[Read the article: Hey, Obama boys: Back off already!]

    Tom Payne.

  • If Obama wins....

[Read the article: Poll trajectory points to trouble for Clinton campaign]

A preview of the Fall campaign:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/16/us/politics/16obama.html?ei=5065&en=20b42c88b48878ce&ex=1209009600&partner=MYWAY&pagewanted=print

Indeed, advisers to Mr. Obama concede, his job has been made that much more complicated by his remarks about bitterness among small-town voters. Though it remains unclear what effect the episode will have in the long run, it has suddenly prompted a series of questions — and worry — from Democrats about whether Mr. Obama could weather a Republican onslaught in the fall, should he win the presidential nomination.

In Pennsylvania, as well as coming primaries in Indiana and North Carolina, did Mr. Obama provide another excuse for white voters to voice qualms about his candidacy without acknowledging that it is his race that troubles them? If he defeats Mrs. Clinton, will accusations of elitism dog him as they have previous Democratic nominees? Does Senator John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, suddenly have an issue that will resonate for the next six months?

It is the criticism from Republicans, though, that worries many Democrats. A senior adviser to Mr. McCain, Steve Schmidt, told reporters on Tuesday that Mr. Obama’s comments were “condescending and elitist” and that they would keep up the criticism “for the duration of Senator Obama’s candidacy.”

  • Really, Tukla in Iowa, and what "issues" are those?

[Read the article: Poll trajectory points to trouble for Clinton campaign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Isn't one of his issues precisely that he thinks white working class voters are retarded? That seems to be one of his major issues.

  • What debate were you watching

[Read the article: Obama and Clinton fizzle in Philly]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Obama laid a giant grade-A egg last night. He was horrible. The ABC idiots were gunning for him, just like the NBC idiots have always been gunning for Clinton. But he should have been prepared for it. He seemed indecisive, peevish, and weak.

"Prolonging the agony is reflected poorly on her own image as an accomplished leader."

I'm afraid that sentence doesn't make any sense, grammatically or otherwise.

Gee, you seem to be really mad. Xanax might help.

  • If it damaged Obama, it was worth it

[Read the article: Obama and Clinton fizzle in Philly]

We can forgive the inanity and tabloid-style tone if it managed finally to derail this empty suit's path to the Democratic nomination.

  • Boo Freaking Hoo

[Read the article: The fallout from the Democratic debate]

    What a sorry little crybaby.

  • Boo Hoo! ABC is being MEAN to me! Boo Hoo!

The rightwing noise machine will tear Obambi apart.

  • @Hhatchet

[Read the article: "She's not as bad as you think"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

But it is not my "logic," Hhatchet. She KILLED MY FUCKING CAT! She ATE IT! She is EVIL!

  • Rufus, she is WORSE than a Republican

[Read the article: "She's not as bad as you think"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

She is a vile, vile CAT-EATER!

  • And my point is

[Read the article: "She's not as bad as you think"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

She eats cats. Poor defenseless cats. And she does it cynically, and with a kind of smug glee.

  • Obama is evil too, he kiled my dog

[Read the article: "She's not as bad as you think"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

But I never liked the damn thing. And he didn't cackle while he did it, like Hillary did. He just sort of seemed resigned.

  • Nancianne doesn't know the HALF of it

[Read the article: "She's not as bad as you think"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The worst was the little cackle she gave as she cracked my cat's spine. It woke me from a sound sleep. I could just make out Hillary's outlined hunched in the corner. My cat was mewing piteously--until she chomped off its head in ONE BITE!

  • My cat was not the only feline victim of Hillary, apparently

[Read the article: "She's not as bad as you think"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

She ate Kathleen Willey's cat too!

    http://www.hillaryproject.com/index.php?/en/story-details/did_clinton_operative_try_to_silence_kathleen_willey/

I see a pattern of pure, unadulterated, cat-eating evil!

  • Oh, Rufus, it is not about fascism

[Read the article: "She's not as bad as you think"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It's about the unchecked, cynical, and corrupt consumption of cats.

  • Jameslow, do not be fooled, do not let her lull you into a false sense of security

[Read the article: "She's not as bad as you think"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Because she will eat your fucking cat, I'm telling you.

  • But, Christopher1988, they demonize Hillary relentlessly at Dailoykos

while tossing out those who speak ill of Obama. But then, they know, as no one else does, the full evil of her feline-chomping ways.

  • Stop mentioning kittens, Manos

Your candidate is as dead as your limp dickie.

  • It's do or die tomorrow for Obama

If he's the front-runner, spends 40+million, and can't win Pennsylvania, there is something WRONG with his candidacy. If he loses Indiana and Kentucky too, superdels will be wondering what the problem is. He spent $30 million in march and lost Ohio and Texas. It's sad--he just isn't quite good enough.
